Xcode Cloud fails while exporting archive
Hi, Since Xcode 26.2 beta 1, till now (I thought RC or actual release will solve this issue) I have problems exporting archive to appstore via Xcode Cloud (locally everything works and using Xcode 26.2 I was able to submit app to AppStore). Build is archived successfully but during export I get an error Exporting for App Store Distribution failed. Please download the logs artifact for more information. In xcodebuild-export-archive.log I see multiple attempts & errors like this 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040644840Z 2025-12-13 00:29:33.900 xcodebuild[10889:58988] DVTServices: Sending request 9A4173F4-CD87-4A76-95FC-501B4D11EF22 to <http://172.16.55.70:8089/services/v1/capabilities> for session DVTFoundation.DVTServicesSessionProxy. 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040647258Z Method: POST 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040648780Z 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040650230Z Headers: 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040651730Z { 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040653539Z Accept = "application/vnd.api+json"; 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040655403Z "Accept-Encoding" = "gzip, deflate"; 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040673847Z "Content-Length" = 124; 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040675883Z "Content-Type" = "application/vnd.api+json"; 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040677903Z "User-Agent" = Xcode; 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040681998Z "X-HTTP-Method-Override" = GET; 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040684468Z "X-Xcode-Version" = "26.2 (17C52)"; 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040686326Z } 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040688028Z 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040689711Z Payload: 2025-12-13T08:29:34.040692163Z {"urlEncodedQueryParams":"teamId=8CKLLLC9UE&filter%5BreferenceType%5D=bundle&filter%5BincludeRequestable%5D=true&limit=200"} 2025-12-13T08:29:34.308538247Z 2025-12-13 00:29:34.208 xcodebuild[10889:58988] DVTServices: Received response for 9A4173F4-CD87-4A76-95FC-501B4D11EF22 @ <http://172.16.55.70:8089/services/v1/capabilities>. What exactly an Xcode framework does?
I created 2 iOS projects in Xcode: Project 1: 4 targets (main app + 3 app extensions) 4 static libraries the main app's target dependencies include - 3 app extensions and the 4 libs. the main app's binary is linked to all 4 libs similarly, each extension is linked to all 4 libs Project 2: 5 targets (main app + 3 app extensions + 1 framework) 4 static libraries the main app's target dependencies include - 3 app extensions and the framework each extension is dependent only on the framework the framework's target dependencies include all the 4 static libs As per my understanding, the app bundle size for Project 2 should be less than that of Project 1, since we eliminate duplicating the static libs for each target by using a framework instead. However, I have found that the bundle size is more for Project 2 as compared to the bundle size of project 1. I do not understand, why?

Custom font doesn't appear on Storyboard custom font list
Hi everyone, (you can answer in french) I’m french-rookie in xcode, and I have a problem: I’m trying to choice my custom font to add it in my Main.storyboard button, but it not works. I have my « Font provided by application » line in my Info.plist, with the name of my font in [0] (See images below) When I’m on storyboard button, I chose « custom » in font selector, then display font list but my custom font doesn’t appear. I already tried to install the font in my mac, but still stucked, nothing change 😭 Could you help me please? Thanks a lot (I specify that I scrupulously followed the way of doing explained on the Apple official page: Adding a Custom Font to Your App )

Xcode 16.2 not seeing iOS 18 devices
Ever since I updated to Xcode 16.2, no device running iOS 18 shows up in Xcode. I can see the devices in Finder and Apple Configurator, but not in Xcode. When I run xcrun devicectl list devices, I also do not see the devices, so I assume the issue is in CoreDevice somewhere. I've tried many things I've seen suggested in similar threads (toggling developer mode, reinstalling Xcode, using a different physical cable, etc) and so far nothing has helped. This same behavior is also happening for my entire development team, which has been as difficult as you might imagine. Any info on how to resolve this would be much appreciated.

Your Apple ID is already associated with the account holder of a membership (Enroll today)
I can't access my approved and verified Apple Developer account on the web and my certificates were revoked. When I sign in with the correct email and password, I am redirected to a page asking me to enroll in the Developer Program, even though I successfully enrolled and was approved months ago. Everything with Apple Developer account had been working fine for months, and the iOS App Store app confirms that my Apple Developer Program membership subscription is still active. And if I click "Enroll Today," it says my Apple ID is already associated with an "account holder of a membership." Additionally, my macOS app certificates have been revoked without any email or explanation, and I cannot create new ones due to this issue. Also I can access my developer account via iOS and macOS apps normally, but I can't access it on the web to create new certificates. This I urgent and time sensitive for me, can someone please help?

Initial Setup of Xcode Cloud won't grant Github access
I'm trying to set up Xcode Cloud for the first time. When I go through the "Get Started" flow and get to "Grant Access to Your Source Code" step, when I click the "Grant Access" button, I get "This Operation Could Not Be Completed." It has the correct URL to my Github repo. Github is working fine in Xcode itself: I can push and pull changes and view repo history. I've tried: restarting Xcode rebooting the Mac Removing the Github account from Xcode and adding it back Creating a new Github personal token and removing the Github account from Xcode and using the new token to add it back I've looked through my Github settings and don't see anything that might cause an issue. I filed FB16511549 to report this. The error dialog in Xcode automatically filled the feedback fields, and says: "API Invalid status code: 500. XcodeCloudCombineAPI.XCCResponseError:1" I'm running Xcode 16.2 (16C5032a) on an M4 MacBook Pro running Sequoia 15.3.1 (24D70). Does anyone have any insights or ideas of other things to try? Thanks.

Error when compiling with Xcode 16.2
I'm trying to compile my iPad app with Xcode 16.2 and I'm consistently getting this error message: couldn't find compile unit for the macro table with offset = 0x0 This is happening at the GenerateDSymFile step. I've tried changing the debug format from Dwarf with Dsym to Dwarf and then back again, as I've read there was a problem with generating the dsyms. But the problem persists. I've tried searching for this error and found nothing online, so apparently I'm the only one! How strange. Are there any settings or flags I can change to try to get more information about what's going wrong?

Can't renew, can't update contact info
I originally created my Apple Developer account when I was living in Canada (years ago). Now that I live in the U.S. I want to renew it, but I can't - because it thinks I'm still in Canada. When I go to change my contact information, I get a screen that says: "Unauthorized Your account can’t access this page. There may be certain requirements to view this content. If you’re a member of a developer program, make sure your Account Holder has agreed the latest license agreement." What do I do?

It takes a long time to create a developer account as a company.
We registered as a developer company (NGO) more than 50 days ago and it's still under review. We've already sent the documents, we've confirmed by phone, and every time we contact them we receive no information. They just tell us it's under review and there's no deadline for when this review will be completed. On the same day we registered with Apple, we registered with Google and our app has been published on Google for more than 30 days. We have no support or answers. Could someone help us to at least know a deadline for this review?

Xcode 26.1 Simulator download fails with DVTDownloadableErrorDomain code 41 and code 49 on macOS 26.1
I'm trying to download an iOS Simulator runtime in Xcode 26.2 or 26.1 on macOS 26.1, but the download keeps failing with the following error: Download failed. Domain: DVTDownloadableErrorDomain Code: 41 Failed fetching catalog for assetType (com.apple.MobileAsset.iOSSimulatorRuntime), serverParameters ({ RequestedBuild = 23C54;}) Domain: DVTDownloadsUtilitiesErrorDomain. Code: -1. Download failed due to a bad URL. (Catalog download for com.apple.MobileAsset.iOSSimulatorRuntime) Domain: com.apple.MobileAssetError.Download Code: 49 User Info: {checkConfiguration = 1;} macOS & Xcode Info: macOS Version: 26.1 (Build 25B78) Xcode Version: 26.2 (24553) (Build 17C52) What I've tried so far: Formatted my Mac and reinstalled Xcode multiple times. Completely deleted Xcode and its related files several times (/Applications/Xcode.app, caches, preferences). Tried different internet connections from multiple locations. Checked Apple servers and verified network. Attempted downloading other simulator runtimes (fail). but download fails immediately with DVTDownloadableErrorDomain Code 41 and bad URL error. Question: How can I fix the simulator download issue in Xcode 26.2 on macOS 26.1? Is there a known workaround for the bad URL / catalog download error?

Xcode 26 beta 5 - actool version decode error killing CI builds
Getting a weird build failure with Xcode 26 beta 5 that I haven't seen before. Build works fine locally but fails in CI when building with xcodebuild with this error: build description signature: 7cb0bf47dd6decc14090f5ae23d66594 Build description path: /Users/user/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/ProjectName-dpklhpaqruhpwdbkihszqtqogzfb/Build/Intermediates.noindex/XCBuildData/7cb0bf47dd6decc14090f5ae23d66594.xcbuilddata error: Failed to decode version info for '/Applications/Xcode-beta.app/Contents/Developer/usr/bin/actool': The data couldn’t be read because it is missing. This error repeats like 15 times in the build log. Anyone else hitting this? Seems like a parsing bug in the beta where it can't read its own version info properly.

App Tracking Transparency permission request iPadOS 18.3.1.
I implemented AppTrackingTransparency framework but Apple is rejecting the review because it seems the request is failing on iPadOS 18.3.1. which seems rare since it is working on all other devices. Has anyone faced the same issue? I have tested this in a physical iPhone with IOS 18.3.1 and in several devices using Xcode runtime simulator including iPad and iPhone in different IOS versions up to 18.2 (which I understand is the latest available in Xcode). The problem is that 18.3.1 runtime simulator is not available yet. Does anyone have more information when it will be available or what to do in these cases?

Where is swift assist?
Swift assist has been announced by apple this year. I have waited Xcode 16.2 release before posting this because I was still hopping for swift assist this year but apple DIDN'T release swift assist and they haven't post anything about swift assist reported or something... What's going to happen with swift assist? Coming next year?
