watchOS 26.2/26.3: watch app killed by dyld before main() — getNameSelRefVMAddr assertion (FB25270892)
Our App Store watch app is being terminated by dyld before any app code runs, only on watchOS 26.2 (23S303) and 26.3 (23S620). Only the arm64 slice is affected (Series 9/10, Ultra 2), and almost always on background launches. Termination Reason: DYLD 9 Assertion failed: (0), function getNameSelRefVMAddr, file ObjCVisitor.cpp, line 1319. objc_visitor::Method::getNameSelRefVMAddr (ObjCVisitor.cpp:1319) dyld4::optimizeObjCSelectors (PrebuiltObjC.cpp:530) dyld4::PrebuiltObjC::make (PrebuiltObjC.cpp:1372) dyld4::PrebuiltLoaderSet::makeLaunchSet (PrebuiltLoader.cpp:2309) dyld4::prepare (dyldMain.cpp:960)Our previous app version crashes in the same function with SIGSEGV instead (same frame offsets on the same dyld build). The fault address lies just past a mapped-file region. What we checked: The crashing binary UUID matches our archive. Every ObjC method list in every image is a standard relative list (0x80000000). None has the selector-offset flag (0x40000000), which is what that assertion branch expects according to the open-source dyld. dyld_info -objc parses all images cleanly. Build settings and linker flags are defaults (Xcode 27.1). So it looks like dyld is reading the wrong data while building the launch closure, rather than our binary being malformed. This seems related to https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/810471: same OS range, same "dyld before main(), ObjC metadata" symptom. That report involves VPP installs, while ours is App Store distribution. Full crash logs, binaries and analysis are in FB25270892. Has anyone else seen this? Is it fixed in watchOS 26.4 or later, and is there any workaround on the app side?

Workout route map shows incorrect GPS positions in mainland China (iOS 27 beta 3)
I'm a user in mainland China. I use the built-in Workout app on my Apple Watch Series 11 (watchOS 27 beta 3) to record outdoor and indoor workouts, and then view the workout data in the built-in Fitness app on my iPhone Air (iOS 27 beta 3). I've noticed that the marker points on the route map are offset — they deviate from the actual location by several hundred meters, ending up in the middle of a river. Note: This looks like a GCJ-02 coordinate conversion issue. In mainland China, map providers are required to use the GCJ-02 datum, and GPS (WGS-84) coordinates must be converted before being displayed on the map. The offset pattern (several hundred meters) is consistent with WGS-84 coordinates being rendered on a GCJ-02 map without conversion, or a double conversion. I've filed this via Feedback Assistant: FB23716158. Happy to provide a sysdiagnose or sample workout data if needed

watchOS longFormAudio cannot de active
My workout watch app supports audio playback during exercise sessions. When users carry both Apple Watch, iPhone, and AirPods, with AirPods connected to the iPhone, I want to route audio from Apple Watch to AirPods for playback. I've implemented this functionality using the following code. try? session.setCategory(.playback, mode: .default, policy: .longFormAudio, options: []) try await session.activate() When users are playing music on iPhone and trigger my code in the watch app, Apple Watch correctly guides users to select AirPods, pauses the iPhone's music, and plays my audio. However, when playback finishes and I end the session using the code below: try session.setActive(false, options:[.notifyOthersOnDeactivation]) the iPhone doesn't automatically resume the previously interrupted music playback—it requires manual intervention. Is this expected behavior, or am I missing other important steps in my code?

watchOS 26 Control Widget AppEnum Localize issue
I’m implementing a Control Widget for watchOS 26 Beta 5, using .promptsForUserConfiguration() so that users can select an option from an enum when adding the widget. The overall functionality works fine, but when users configure the option, the enum’s corresponding text is not properly localized. My enum is defined like this: static var caseDisplayRepresentations: [XXXType: DisplayRepresentation] { [ XX1: .init(title: .init("text1", table: "xxx")), XX2: .init(title: .init("text2", table: "xxx")), ] } After the configuration is completed and the Control Widget appears in the Control Center or Smart Stack, the text is displayed correctly. Same code on iOS work perfect.

Has HealthKit Changed GPS Standards in iOS 18.4 Beta 4?
I am a developer from mainland China. Today, I noticed that the HKWorkoutRoute data stored by my app in HealthKit shows significant discrepancies when viewed on the workout route map in the Health and Fitness apps on iOS 18.4. Instead of displaying the actual movement path, the route appears to be offset by several hundred meters. I collected this data using my app on watchOS 11.3.1, and all CLLocation data comes directly from Core Location. I did not convert WGS84 standard data to GCJ02. Reviewing historical data, all workout routes before March 17, 2025, appear correct, but every record after that date exhibits the offset issue.

How the iOS 18 Control Widget displays an AppIntentError to the user.
My app is an outdoor exercise tracking app that allows you to start exercising from the Control widget。 I want to prompt the user with an AppIntentError.PermissionRequired.location error when the user doesn't authorize Core Location permissions. When I throw error in the Intent, tap the Control widget doesn't do anything and doesn't give the user any indication of what's happening

The status of "Waiting for review" has been waiting for almost 2 weeks
Dear App Review: We are an image processing software that undergoes regular iterations and updates with new features every month. At present, our updated version has been waiting for almost 2 weeks in the "waiting for review" state. During this waiting process, we have made the following actions but are unable to enter the review process: We requested an expedited review and informed that it was successful, but no progress was made; Contacted "App Review Status" via email; Please inform us that everything is normal and wait for the review; Refused by oneself, resubmit for review; Our users have been anxiously asking us when to update the new features, and they are very eager to use them. Apple ID of the App:1401783711 and 911261462 Looking forward to your reply, thank you!

iOS LiveActivityIntent can not find in TestFlight
hi, all I'm in the process of adapting a new feature to my live activity, which allows users to interact directly with the live activity using button(intent), without having to jump to the app. I've implemented an intent using LiveActivityIntent, the intent code is included in the main app and widget target, and all the functionality and logic works perfectly in the debug mode. After I submitted it to testflight in release mode and installed it on the real machine, I tested the above functionality and found that it doesn't work. I checked the logs of the phone and found that there is a similar error in the console Could not find an intent with identifier xxxxxIntent, mangledTypeName: Optional("xxxxxV"), the TypeName in the last part of the log has one more "V" than my real code, and I made sure that there is no such V in the code.
