Hello Apple Developer Support & Community,
I’m reaching out regarding the unexpected termination of my Apple Developer Program account, associated with App ID: 6744330283.
Recently, my app was flagged under Guideline 4.3 - Spam, and I was asked to make necessary changes. I followed all guidance provided by Apple, including a phone call with an App Review team member, who clarified the steps I should take. I did not submit any further update after that call.
However, before I had the chance to upload the new, compliant version of my app, my entire developer account was terminated without a clear explanation or additional warning. I believe this was a misunderstanding, as I was actively working on compliance and fully committed to resolving the issue.
My app is not spam
I only followed Apple’s instructions
I never uploaded a new version after my call with App Review
No specific violation or example of “spam” was shown to me
I’ve submitted an official appeal via the App Review Board, but I’m hoping someone here can also assist or escalate this matter. My developer account and years of effort are at risk over what seems to be a miscommunication.
Thank you for any guidance or assistance you can provide.

Hello Apple Developer Team and Community,
I’m writing to raise a serious concern regarding my app (App ID: 6744330283) which is now being repeatedly rejected under Guideline 4.3 (A) – Spam, despite being previously approved and published for at least two earlier versions.
We have had multiple rounds of communication with the App Review team in the past, carefully addressing every request and making adjustments accordingly. These previous versions were reviewed and approved without any reference to 4.3 issues.
However, since a recent update, we’ve been receiving rejections citing Spam 4.3 (A) — without any specific explanation or detailed reasoning.
Even more frustrating:
Each review now takes over a week to process, making our release cycle extremely difficult to manage.
It required dozens of phone calls and emails just to get the app reviewed at all.
I even had a meeting with an App Review team member, where I was told:
“The recent updates are considered Spam 4.3, while the earlier versions that were approved are not.”
But I am truly confused by this, because all the updates share the exact same codebase — there are no material differences between the approved versions and the ones now being rejected.
This inconsistency and lack of clarity is making it impossible for us to move forward. We respectfully request:
A clear and actionable explanation for why the recent versions are now considered Spam 4.3 (A), while earlier versions were not.
Specific guidance or examples to help us understand what triggered this new interpretation.
Transparency about what exactly changed — either in review criteria or policy enforcement — so that we can comply properly.
We are committed to fully adhering to the App Store Review Guidelines and improving the app accordingly, but we can’t do that without transparency and fair communication.
Any insights from the Apple team or other developers who’ve faced similar issues would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
I’m experiencing a critical issue with my app’s review process under my developer account (App ID: 6744330283).
The app was initially approved and published, but starting with version 1.2 and later updates, every submission faces prolonged review times (over 1 week) only to be automatically rejected without clear justification.
I’ve resubmitted multiple times, confirmed compliance with guidelines, and even tested with minor changes—same result.
Meanwhile, a separate developer account of mine gets approvals within 24 hours for the same type of apps, suggesting an account-specific issue.
Actions Taken:
Appealed via the Resolution Center and App Review Board.
Communicated via email and even a Meet call with Apple Support, but was told my account has "no issues."
The app has real users and active IAPs, making this disruption unacceptable.
Next Steps:
I’m pursuing legal counsel in LA to escalate this, as the lack of transparency is harming my business.
Questions for the community:
Has anyone resolved a similar issue?
Are there hidden account flags or escalation paths beyond standard channels?
Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out because I’m really struggling to understand what’s happening with my app’s review status.
My app was successfully approved and published with:
Version 1.0 on May 12, 2025
Then updated to 1.1 on May 18, 2025
Everything was going smoothly — users were engaging, and within the last 20 days alone, in-app purchases totaled $2,100.
However, when I submitted a new summer update (with fresh features and an in-app event), both:
Version 1.2 and
Version 2.1
...were rejected under guideline 4.3(A) – Spam.
This is incredibly confusing because:
My app has a completely original design and functionality
It provides distinctive value and content
There is real user activity and sales
I tried everything — submitted explanations, requested a manual review, even scheduled a Webex meeting with Apple. But the meeting was vague, and I still haven't received any concrete details on what exactly violates 4.3(A). Everything just refers back to "not complying with Apple's guidelines" without specifying how.
🆘 App ID: 6744330283
Has anyone faced something similar? Does anyone have insight on how to move forward or how to escalate this issue for a proper manual review?
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Bao Duy
Hello everyone,
I’m reaching out to seek advice and support regarding a confusing issue I’m experiencing with my app’s review process.
App ID: 6744330283
Here’s the situation:
Versions 1.0 and 1.1 of my app were approved and successfully published on the App Store.
However, updates 1.2 and 2.0 have both been rejected for Guideline 4.3 – Spam.
The rejection happens extremely fast – less than 10 seconds after the app goes “In Review”, it gets rejected.
There is no indication that the reviewer even launched the app.
This is very frustrating because:
The app has real user reviews, In-App Purchases, and active paying users.
My app is 100% original – it is not a copy or template-based app.
Even worse, the review process for versions 1.2 and 2.0 took over 7 days before even starting, and then they were rejected instantly, again without being opened.
I’m happy to cooperate and improve my app further, but I feel like this may be a misunderstanding or a mistaken flag by an automated process.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any way to get a more thorough manual review or speak directly with the review team?
Thanks in advance for any guidance or shared experience.
Hello,
I submitted my app (App ID: 6744330283) on May 21, 2025, and by May 28, it was still not reviewed. I contacted Apple via email and phone, and was advised to wait. Suspecting a possible issue with my account, I removed the app and resubmitted it on June 7, 2025.
Today is June 13, and the app is still "Waiting for Review". Normally, app reviews are completed within 48 hours (or 5 days max).
I’m concerned there may be an issue with my developer account or submission.
Could someone from the Apple Review Team help escalate or check the status of this app?
Thank you in advance!
