Is there a way to support 32-bit iOS devices with new app store submissions?
I write an app that lets people repurpose old iPhones and iPads as digital signs. I've supported iOS 9 up to this point (and according to analytics about 6-7% of my users are on iOS 9). With the new requirement that all app updates submitted to the store have to be built in Xcode 14, and Xcode 14 dropping support for 32-bit builds, it looks like while I can still target iOS 9 , I can't create a build compatible with older 32-bit devices (e.g. the iPad 2). My questions are: 1 - am I missing something here, or is Apple really not allowing my app updates to support 32-bit devices? 2 - if I do release a 64-bit only build to the store, will people on 32-bit devices be able to download an older version of my app (if they don't already have it installed)? I did try contacting Apple developer support, but just got a generic response so I'm kind of at a loss here

EventKit equivalent for declining an event
Hi there, In the UI for the native calendar app, when I tap on a meeting in my calendar that's owned by another calendar (i.e. I can't edit it) I see three buttons at the bottom of the popup: Accept, Maybe, and Decline. Is there a property on EKEvent that I can set to have the same effect as a user tapping one of these buttons? It seems that EKEvent.status is the most likely candidate, but I see that it's readonly.
