What I want to do is verify that the app was actually purchased through the app store and not just copied over from another computer. In the old system, if there was no receipt, macOS would display a login window where I could enter a sandbox user, which would then provide the correct receipt. Put differently: I want to test a scenario where this code would behave as if not downloaded from the MAS and I thought that would be the "default" scenario running a fresh build.

Just had another case... But this time I only needed to reply in chat and within an hour they continued the review, so at least it was resolved quickly. Still a bit annoying seeing how only 3 months have passed since the last issue :'(

Usually it takes around a week and this time I first used the chat but then, after not getting a response in 24h, filled out the appeal form. I wasn't sure if the appeal form is really needed, but since it was an urgent update I didn't want to wait longer only to find out the form was needed.
