Clarification on Apple Pay Domain Verification File Behavior
I'm implementing Apple Pay in my Flutter web app and I'm following the guidelines for domain verification using the apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association file. When I access the file at https://mydomain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association through my web app, the browser silently downloads the file instead of displaying its content on the webpage. My question is: Is this the expected behavior for the apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association file? Should the browser download the file silently, or is there another step required, such as displaying the content on the webpage for verification purposes? I've consulted some resources and they indicate that the file download is the correct behavior. However, I'd appreciate confirmation from the community to ensure I'm implementing the verification process correctly. Summary is how do we know if apple has verified it?

Problem with cert validation and button show
Hi, I’ve been trying to integrate Apple Pay, but for some reason, the payment button is not showing up. The project is built with Laravel 11 and Vue. However, when I test my integration, the button doesn’t appear. I’ve checked the console, but there are no errors. At the same time, I have my certificate imported into the Keychain, and I’ve completed the entire process of creating both the certificate and the private key. However, when I try to validate the session using the certificate and key with Apple’s API, I get an error: 400 The SSL certificate error https://apple-pay-gateway-cert.apple.com/paymentservices/

Domain Verification and applePayCapabilities
We have verified our domain but if the file is removed from the deployed site after verification will this impact using ApplePaySession.applePayCapabilities in real time? We use that method from the JS api in our React app to determine whether or not to show the apple pay button. When that function is called in the browser, do the apple servers ping the https://our.domain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association URL at that time? Or do they check for it periodically? The reason for asking is that with our many environments we wonder if we can verify each environment's domain by adding the file once. The file will be wiped out by our CICD process as it goes up the environment stack through our development workflow. Or do we need to maintain that file for each environment and add something to our build process?

Card details in the Wallet app shows as "Something went wrong. Try again later"
I'm encountering an issue with Apple Pay on both Wallet and the Watch app where the app name is not showing up on the back of the payment card(Card details). The pass was successfully provisioned, and everything seems to be working, but the expected app name or brand isn't displayed, and instead, I see the generic "Something went wrong. Try again Later" message. Do we need to configure something to get this displayed in Wallet app?

Issue with Apple Pay Integration in WKWebView
Hello, We are experiencing an issue with Apple Pay integration in our application. We are using WKWebView to handle various payment methods, but we are unable to complete payments via Apple Pay. Upon debugging the WKWebView, we received the following error message: "400 No required SSL certificate was sent" when attempting to process the payment. Currently, we are using a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate. Could you please confirm whether this certificate is suitable for Apple Pay, or if we should be using a different SSL certificate?

In that report, I detailed errors encountered during the card addition process (notably issues related to a missing teamID and cryptographic material errors). Card provisioning not working from Apple Wallet Extension
We have developed Apple Wallet Extension for our App. The in-app provisioning for the card is working. However when we try to add the card from Wallet extension it gives error saying "Your issuer does not yet offer support for this card". Team, We are currently checking out on Apple Pay using ALL and MRU as currencies. We have authorized the payment via Touch ID; however, we are not receiving the onPaymentAuthorized event. suppressing express mode when using widget
we are currently using the requestAutomaticPassPresentationSuppression API in my app. to prevent the Wallet interface from appearing when an NFC/RF reader is detected during active app usage. Recently, a new transit card supporting Express Mode (T-money Transit Card) was released in Korea, and we are seeing an increasing number of users enabling Express Mode. However, this has introduced an issue where users are unable to use the BLE-based functionality we provide via our widget. Specifically, when the user taps our widget, it triggers a BLE signal broadcast for approximately 10 seconds. In this scenario, when the user brings their iPhone close to our reader, Express Mode is activated before the BLE interaction can be established. This prevents the BLE signal from being successfully received and processed. We would like to ask: Is it possible to suppress Express Mode behavior (similar to requestAutomaticPassPresentationSuppression) even when the app is launched via a widget interaction? Alternatively, is there any way to delay or defer Express Mode activation temporarily when launching from a widget or during BLE communication? We would appreciate any guidance or best practices you can share regarding this scenario. Thank you.

HTTP 400 status code
Recently, we completed a merger with our parent company. We are currently integrated with Apple Pay in accordance with the “Apple Pay Payment Processing on the Web” guidelines. Due to the change in the legal entity, we proceeded with the account migration process as outlined below: Creation of a new Apple Developer account and a new Apple Pay Identifier Removal of the Merchant Domain (dc2-web.happy.co.kr) from the existing Identifier Registration of the Merchant Domain (dc2-web.happy.co.kr) under the new Identifier Using the Merchant Domain registered under the new Identifier and the Apple Pay Merchant Identity Certificate issued from the new Identifier, we attempted to obtain an Apple Pay session by sending requests to the following endpoint: https://apple-pay-gateway.apple.com/paymentservices/startSession However, we are intermittently receiving failure responses with an HTTP 400 status code. With regard to these intermittent failures, we would like to inquire whether there is any propagation delay on Apple’s servers when an Apple Pay Identifier is removed and re-registered under a new account, or if there could be any other possible causes for this behavior. We would appreciate your guidance on this matter.

Payment not completed in Apple Pay
We have an Apple Pay account and have successfully created and verified the payment processing certificate in our Apple Developer account. When initiating an Apple Pay payment, the Apple session is created successfully with the correct data return from api , but it is not accepted with the error: “Payment not completed.” The issue occurs even though the merchant validation step works without errors. Additional certificate problem of Apple Pay E-Commerce
Dear Apple team and developers, We integrated Apple Pay E-Commerce on our system and made successful transaction at January using following certificates. Merchant Identity Certificate (generated from our Apple developer account) Payment Processing Certificate (generated from our Apple developer account) Payment Session Server Certificate (used following command and generated from apple-pay-gateway-cert.apple.com:443 test URL) Command: openssl s_client -connect apple-pay-gateway-cert.apple.com:443 -key MIC_priv.key -cert MIC_merchant_id.pem -showcerts | openssl x509 -outform DER &gt; apay_ident_trusted_cert_test.der Root CA G3 (Downloaded “Apple Root CA – G3 Root” from https://www.apple.com/certificateauthority/ ) But at this month, we got new certificate problem (please check following) when we try to execute Apple Pay E-Commerce transaction. Certificate 'C=US,O=Apple Inc.,OU=Apple Certification Authority,CN=Apple Application Integration CA - G3' is not valid Certificate. What is this certificate? How to use Extended Virtual Addressing and Increased Memory Limit services correctly?
During the development of our 3D game project, we encountered high memory usage requirements. To address this, we enabled Apple’s Extended Virtual Addressing (EVA) and Increased Memory Limit services. We have confirmed that both services were enabled in the developer backend as well as in Xcode, and we also used updated development and distribution certificates when building the app. However, in our validation process, it seems that EVA and Increased Memory Limit are not taking effect — the game still experiences memory overflow and crashes. Could you please advise: The correct steps to properly use Extended Virtual Addressing and Increased Memory Limit; How we can confirm whether these services are functioning as expected?

Apple Pay ok with SandBox but ko in production
Hello, On my website, I have a button to make a payment via Apple Pay. When I click on it, the Touch ID window opens correctly. However, when I place my finger on the Touch ID, I get a payment error. Domain Verification and applePayCapabilities
We have verified our domain but if the file is removed from the deployed site after verification will this impact using ApplePaySession.applePayCapabilities in real time? We use that method from the JS api in our React app to determine whether or not to show the apple pay button. When that function is called in the browser, do the apple servers ping the https://our.domain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association URL at that time? Or do they check for it periodically? The reason for asking is that with our many environments we wonder if we can verify each environment's domain by adding the file once. The file will be wiped out by our CICD process as it goes up the environment stack through our development workflow. Or do we need to maintain that file for each environment and add something to our build process?

Card details in the Wallet app shows as "Something went wrong. Try again later"
I'm encountering an issue with Apple Pay on both Wallet and the Watch app where the app name is not showing up on the back of the payment card(Card details). The pass was successfully provisioned, and everything seems to be working, but the expected app name or brand isn't displayed, and instead, I see the generic "Something went wrong. Try again Later" message. Do we need to configure something to get this displayed in Wallet app?

Issue with Apple Pay Integration in WKWebView
Hello, We are experiencing an issue with Apple Pay integration in our application. We are using WKWebView to handle various payment methods, but we are unable to complete payments via Apple Pay. Upon debugging the WKWebView, we received the following error message: "400 No required SSL certificate was sent" when attempting to process the payment. Currently, we are using a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate. Could you please confirm whether this certificate is suitable for Apple Pay, or if we should be using a different SSL certificate?

Card provisioning not working from Apple Wallet Extension
We have developed Apple Wallet Extension for our App. The in-app provisioning for the card is working. However when we try to add the card from Wallet extension it gives error saying "Your issuer does not yet offer support for this card". suppressing express mode when using widget
we are currently using the requestAutomaticPassPresentationSuppression API in my app. to prevent the Wallet interface from appearing when an NFC/RF reader is detected during active app usage. Recently, a new transit card supporting Express Mode (T-money Transit Card) was released in Korea, and we are seeing an increasing number of users enabling Express Mode. However, this has introduced an issue where users are unable to use the BLE-based functionality we provide via our widget. Specifically, when the user taps our widget, it triggers a BLE signal broadcast for approximately 10 seconds. In this scenario, when the user brings their iPhone close to our reader, Express Mode is activated before the BLE interaction can be established. This prevents the BLE signal from being successfully received and processed. We would like to ask: Is it possible to suppress Express Mode behavior (similar to requestAutomaticPassPresentationSuppression) even when the app is launched via a widget interaction? Alternatively, is there any way to delay or defer Express Mode activation temporarily when launching from a widget or during BLE communication? We would appreciate any guidance or best practices you can share regarding this scenario. Thank you.

HTTP 400 status code
Recently, we completed a merger with our parent company. We are currently integrated with Apple Pay in accordance with the “Apple Pay Payment Processing on the Web” guidelines. Due to the change in the legal entity, we proceeded with the account migration process as outlined below: Creation of a new Apple Developer account and a new Apple Pay Identifier Removal of the Merchant Domain (dc2-web.happy.co.kr) from the existing Identifier Registration of the Merchant Domain (dc2-web.happy.co.kr) under the new Identifier Using the Merchant Domain registered under the new Identifier and the Apple Pay Merchant Identity Certificate issued from the new Identifier, we attempted to obtain an Apple Pay session by sending requests to the following endpoint: https://apple-pay-gateway.apple.com/paymentservices/startSession However, we are intermittently receiving failure responses with an HTTP 400 status code. With regard to these intermittent failures, we would like to inquire whether there is any propagation delay on Apple’s servers when an Apple Pay Identifier is removed and re-registered under a new account, or if there could be any other possible causes for this behavior. We would appreciate your guidance on this matter.

Payment not completed in Apple Pay
We have an Apple Pay account and have successfully created and verified the payment processing certificate in our Apple Developer account. When initiating an Apple Pay payment, the Apple session is created successfully with the correct data return from api , but it is not accepted with the error: “Payment not completed.” The issue occurs even though the merchant validation step works without errors. Additional certificate problem of Apple Pay E-Commerce

Merchant Identity Certificate (generated from our Apple developer account) Payment Processing Certificate (generated from our Apple developer account) Payment Session Server Certificate (used following command and generated from apple-pay-gateway-cert.apple.com:443 test URL) Command: openssl s_client -connect apple-pay-gateway-cert.apple.com:443 -key MIC_priv.key -cert MIC_merchant_id.pem -showcerts | openssl x509 -outform DER &gt; apay_ident_trusted_cert_test.der Root CA G3 (Downloaded “Apple Root CA – G3 Root” from https://www.apple.com/certificateauthority/ ) But at this month, we got new certificate problem (please check following) when we try to execute Apple Pay E-Commerce transaction. Certificate 'C=US,O=Apple Inc.,OU=Apple Certification Authority,CN=Apple Application Integration CA - G3' is not valid Certificate. What is this certificate? Apple Pay testing on sandbox in India - Test cards
Apple Sandbox is not available in India, also Apple Pay itself is not supported by Indian Banks. How can I still test using Apple Pay sandbox in India? I am trying to add test cards on my iPhone and it fails to add it. It tries to connect to Issuer, which it should not for sandbox Apple Id. Can anyone help how to achieve this?

How to use Extended Virtual Addressing and Increased Memory Limit services correctly?
During the development of our 3D game project, we encountered high memory usage requirements. To address this, we enabled Apple’s Extended Virtual Addressing (EVA) and Increased Memory Limit services. We have confirmed that both services were enabled in the developer backend as well as in Xcode, and we also used updated development and distribution certificates when building the app. However, in our validation process, it seems that EVA and Increased Memory Limit are not taking effect — the game still experiences memory overflow and crashes. Could you please advise: The correct steps to properly use Extended Virtual Addressing and Increased Memory Limit; How we can confirm whether these services are functioning as expected?
