Apple Developer Program Payment Issue & Rejected Reapplication – Need Help!
Hey everyone, I’m in a really frustrating situation and could use some advice. Apple approved my Developer Program application and asked me to make the payment. I paid using my Wise card, but the payment got stuck in authorization and later timed out, resulting in a refund. I contacted Apple via email, and they advised me to reapply using the iOS Developer app. I did exactly that, but my new application got rejected. When I called support, they told me there’s no appeal process and refused to provide a reason for the rejection. I’ve sent multiple emails, but I haven’t received a single response. I just want to continue with my original application and complete the payment, but I can’t get in touch with anyone who can help. Has anyone experienced something similar? Any ideas on how to get through to Apple and resolve this? Thanks in advance!

Xcode 16 „forgetting“ package in subfolder to root package
Xcode 16 seems to „forget“ a swift package within a subfolder of a root package after restart or shut-down. I have the following project structure, which also resembles the directory structure on disc: MyPackage - Package.swift - README.md - Sources - MyPackage - Tests - MyPackageTests - Tools - MyGenerator // <- after restart this folder is not visible in the Xcode project navigator - Package.swift - Sources - main.swift - Tests MyGenerator is a standalone package which is used during development of MyPackage to generate source code files for MyPackage based on text file input. Essentially an executable target script which I can run within its folder with: swift run MyGenerator someInputFile.txt MyPackage does NOT use MyGenerator as a dependency, nor do I want this tool listed as a dependency in MyPackage Package.swift file. Yet MyGenerator is part of the same Git repo, as it documents the changes to the tool on how to generate source code for MyPackage. Both packages are developed in tandem. MyGenerator itself defines dependencies in its Package.swift file, which are unrelated to the functionality of MyPackage. After restart of Xcode or even just a longer shut-down period the MyGenerator subfolder is not visible in the Xcode project navigator, the /Tools folder is empty. I have to manually add the sub package via Add files to "MyPackage" -> Move files to destination every time. How can I solve that Xcode remembers the sub package unter /Tools? Edit: I am using Xcode 16.2

Apple Developer Program Enrollment Problems
Hey everyone. This is probably the last straw I am trying to pull since I tried almost everything else. I have applied for the Apple Developer Program and the whole process started at the end of 2024. I got rejected the first time because Apple could not charge my card. It was clearly shown that the cost is $99, however, it was 106.65 Euros (I created a Revolut card with the $100 because I don't trust placing my card everywhere). I started the new process but this time I knew about the amount issue so I placed 150 Euros just to be safe. Automatic rejection with robotic AI response: "For one or more reasons, your enrollment in the Apple Developer Program couldn't be completed. We can't continue with your enrollment at this time." When I raised ticket about it I got no replies. Than both my friend and wife tried to apply for the program. Both rejected with the exact same messaging. I created a new Apple ID, new card, new everything and did everything "by the book". Again. Rejection with the same exact messaging: For one or more reasons, your enrollment in the Apple Developer Program couldn't be completed. We can't continue with your enrollment at this time... Can someone from Apple please tell me what are those reasons? I have been an Apple user for almost 10 years now. I was buying Apps from store. I am using iCloud+. Modest Citizen as some would say. What's the problem? How can I finally get to Apple Developer Program without being rejected by AI or some poor auto system?

Cannot access profile page of individual DTS engineers
Until recently, it was possible to view the profiles of every user who posted in the forums. The profile page would then have links to posts/replies and other pages so that one could "follow" the recent comments by those users. However, it appears that it no longer is possible to view a profile of individual "DTS Engineer". What I mean is I can no longer view their profile page and as a result the recent posts/replies that a specific "DTS Engineer" makes. It's especially a loss because posts made by such engineers are very helpful and valuable and not being able to easily follow such posts on a single page makes the forum software less useful. Is there a way the previous feature can be brought back?

Push Notification
Hello. We're developing an app with Flutter that receives VoIP calls. However, when the app is in the background or closed, the push notification arrives, but the call doesn't. It works perfectly when the app is open. We use Firebase, Flutter, and JANUS WebRTC. We need to know what type of permissions or actions we should consider so that the app opens when it receives a call. How can we resolve this issue? Thank you very much.

Requesting permission for MusicKit in Xcode Cloud
I am experimenting with Swift Testing and Xcode Cloud and would like to write some tests that require to use MusicKit functionality. For example I'd like to fetch an album via MusicCatalogRessourceRequest to test an initializer of another struct. However this test fails because the permission to access the music library is not granted. Once the permission is granted, the test works as expected. Things I have tried: Add NSPrivacyAccessedAPITypes to the Info.plist. This did not show any effect. Below is the corresponding snippet Trying to tap the button programmatically. Once again this did not show any effect. The Info.plist snippet: <key>NSPrivacyAccessedAPITypes</key> <array> <string>NSPrivacyAccessedAPIMediaLibrary</string> </array> The code snippet to tap the button: let systemAlerts = XCUIApplication(bundleIdentifier: "com.apple.springboard") let allowButton = systemAlerts.buttons["Allow"] if allowButton.exists { allowButton.tap() } What am I doing wrong here? I need access to MusicKit functionalities to write meaningful tests. Thank you

The behavior of the app using the Promises library changes between Xcode 15.4 and Xcode 16.2.
I’m creating code that performs asynchronous processing using the Promises library (https://github.com/google/promises). In this context, when building the app in Xcode 15.4 and Xcode 16.2, the behavior differs between the two. I’m using version 2.1.1 of the library. Also, I’ve tried using the latest version, 2.4.0, but the result was the same. Has anyone encountered the same issue or know an effective solution? Here's a simple code that reproduces this issue. @IBAction func tapButton(_: UIButton) { _ = getInfo() } func getInfo() -> Promise<Void> { Promise(on: .global(qos: .background)) { fulfill, _ in self.callApi() .then { apiResult -> Promise<ApiResult> in print("\(#function), first apiResult: \(apiResult)") return self.callApi() // #1 } .then { apiResult in print("\(#function), second apiResult: \(apiResult)") // #2 fulfill(()) } } } func callApi() -> Promise<ApiResult> { Promise(on: .global(qos: .background)) { fulfill, _ in print("\(#function), start") self.wait(3) .then { _ in let apiResult = ApiResult(message: "success") print("\(#function), end") fulfill(apiResult) } } } struct ApiResult: Codable { var message: String enum CodingKeys: String, CodingKey { case message } } The Swift Language version in the build settings is 5.0. The console output when running the above code is as follows: When built with Xcode 15.4: 2025/03/21 10:10:46.248 callApi(), start 2025/03/21 10:10:46.248 wait 3.0 sec 2025/03/21 10:10:49.515 callApi(), end 2025/03/21 10:10:49.535 getDeviceInfo(), first apiResult: ApiResult(message: "success") 2025/03/21 10:10:49.535 callApi(), start 2025/03/21 10:10:49.536 wait 3.0 sec 2025/03/21 10:10:52.831 callApi(), end 2025/03/21 10:10:52.832 getDeviceInfo(), second apiResult: ApiResult(message: "success") The process proceeds from #1 to #2 after completing the code comment in #1. When built with Xcode 16.2: 2025/03/21 09:45:33.399 callApi(), start 2025/03/21 09:45:33.400 wait 3.0 sec 2025/03/21 09:45:36.648 callApi(), end 2025/03/21 09:45:36.666 getDeviceInfo(), first apiResult: ApiResult(message: "success") 2025/03/21 09:45:36.666 callApi(), start 2025/03/21 09:45:36.666 wait 3.0 sec 2025/03/21 09:45:36.677 getDeviceInfo(), second apiResult: Pending: ApiResult 2025/03/21 09:45:39.933 callApi(), end The process does not wait for the code comment in #1 to finish and outputs the #2 print statement first. Additionally, even with Xcode 16.2, when changing the #2 line to "print("(#function), second apiResult: (apiResult.message)")", the output becomes as follows. From this, it seems that referencing the ApiResult type, which is not a String, might have some effect on the behavior. 2025/03/21 10:05:42.129 callApi(), start 2025/03/21 10:05:42.131 wait 3.0 sec 2025/03/21 10:05:45.419 callApi(), end 2025/03/21 10:05:45.437 getDeviceInfo(), first apiResult: ApiResult(message: "success") 2025/03/21 10:05:45.437 callApi(), start 2025/03/21 10:05:45.437 wait 3.0 sec 2025/03/21 10:05:48.706 callApi(), end 2025/03/21 10:05:48.707 getDeviceInfo(), second apiResult: success Thank you in advance

Why does my zsh prompt permanently change?
Hey, I am using the terminal a lot. Since I updated to Sonoma (so, really a long time ago). My prompt or more precise the hostname always changes between three states. Sometimes it is username@Macbook-Pro-of-XXX, sometimes username@MacbookPro and sometimes it's username@xxxxxxxx-yyyy-zzzz-aaaa-bbbbbbbbbbbb. The latter is probably my UUID. Does anyone have a clue why this randomly changes?

FamilyControls Framework info.plist missing
We are trying to create a screentime app using the Family Controls as well as Device activity frameworks. The build succeeds but while pushing to an iphone we are getting an info.plist file for deviceactivity.framework could not be found error. For reference when using the Screentime API a physical device must be used not a simulator. When we remove the device activity framework this error also occurs for the family controls framework. We have added the Family Controls(development) Capability and applied for the distribution capability. We have redownloaded xcode multiple times on the main device, deleted derived data, and redownloaded all of the iphone SDKs and the issue still persists.

Notice of Termination
Dear Apple Support Team, I am Tianwei Yue. I received your email this morning regarding the immediate termination of our Apple Developer Program License Agreement and Apple Developer Agreement, citing alleged fraudulent behavior and violations of certain terms. We are both surprised and deeply anxious about this decision. Firstly, the email mentioned that if we wish to file an official complaint under the applicable Platform Regulation, we could contact you via “Contact Us”. However, when I logged in with my account and clicked the “Contact Us” link, the system responded with “You’re not eligible to make this request.” We would appreciate guidance on how to properly submit an official complaint or if there is an alternative way to reach out for assistance. Secondly, I would like to emphasize that the “mathos ai” application operated under this account currently has over 3 million active users. Our application has consistently maintained a high user rating of 4.6 and a record of excellent service. The immediate deletion of our account has rendered the service inaccessible to a large number of customers who use Apple products, severely impacting their experience. We believe that this decision does not align with the shared values of customer care that both Apple and we have always upheld. We have always been proactive in handling user accounts, refunds, and payment issues, and we continuously strive to provide high-quality service to our users. Consequently, we are puzzled by the reason for the account suspension and believe that there might be some misunderstanding or miscommunication. We sincerely hope to connect with the relevant Apple personnel to understand the issue in detail and provide any necessary additional information to resolve any concerns and restore our service. Thank you very much for taking the time to read our email. We look forward to your prompt response so that we can resolve this issue and jointly safeguard the interests of our valued customers. Sincerely, Tianwei Yue

Getting an error in Xcode after resting simulator
I just made clean data on simulator then started getting the below error built on Xcode ? Showing Recent Issues Entitlements file "Clinic.entitlements" was modified during the build, which is not supported. You can disable this error by setting 'CODE_SIGN_ALLOW_ENTITLEMENTS_MODIFICATION' to 'YES', however this may cause the built product's code signature or provisioning profile to contain incorrect entitlements.
