App is live in App Store but subscriptions are NOT since 8 days
Hi there, I dont now what to do anymore and you help is more than appreciated. My app + subscriptions has been certified before 8 days on Monday, 8th but my subscriptions are not shown in the App Store. That leads to a loading spinner since 8 days in my production app! I have an email, where I see that the app + all 6 subscriptions has been approved. On the other hand I see that my subscriptions are still in review and dont see them below the app in the App Store. I was given last week on Tuesday (before 7 days) an expedite review for the subscriptions, because the Apple developer support was writing that the subscriptions are not yet certified. The expedite review has not taken place since 7 days or its not true what the Apple Developer Support is writing (subscriptions need to be reviewed). I think the subscriptions are not linked to the app and I am in a dead lock situation. I need your help, because I have fears that I receive 1 star recommendations and the developer support cannot help me since 8 days. Best regards Tino Link to the App: https://apps.apple.com/de/app/vario-one/id1605797423

Can't manage my sandbox account
Hi, I can't get into "manage" sandbox account. I either get to a screen to put my password in. Here there is no way to click "next" or "login". (I have tried pressing "enter" on my keyboard to no effect). Or I get directly into "Cannot Connect" page. I have tried this two days in a row. I have tried turning it off and on again. I have tried logging out and in. Device: iPhone 13 pro max, iOS: 16.0.3 (also tried the version before this)

Unknown Error when Trying to Add New Offer Codes
Hi there! Whenever I try to add a new Offer Code for my app's subscription, I get an unknown error. When I get to the last step of the "Create Offer for Codes" flow, I get an error that error reads "An error has occurred. Try again later." I have been getting this same error for over a week now, so any help figuring out how to add new offer codes would be greatly appreciated!

StoreKit2 does not provide an update when subscription was cancelled
I am testing a situation when user cancels auto renewable subscription (via StoreKit->Manage Transactions window). The problem is StoreKit2 does not provide an update when subscription was cancelled. I started using demo from apple developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/in-app_purchase/implementing_a_store_in_your_app_using_the_storekit_api to test this behaviour in order to get rid of possible mistakes in my implementation, but result is the same - when user cancels subscription app does not receive any storekit events (change in renewal info, update in current entitlements, transaction status - nothing) and only after app's relaunch it fetches everything from scratch and finally updates UI. I tried to wait for up to 20 minutes to check whether this update in transaction (subscription) status will be delivered to the app - still nothing. So the problem, as I see it, is that if user cancels subscription and then does not relaunch the app he can continue to use the app for free for a long time. In this regard I have several questions: is it expected behavior of StoreKit2? If yes - why? Does it happen in Test Flight mode or in production env as well? If it's not expected behavior then is it correct to fix it with checking (lets say once in an hour) user's current entitlements (I tried and it seems to work ok) or there are better solutions?

One-time purchase with free trial
Dear all, This is my first post in this forum - and, in fact, my first app, too! I'm glad to be here, and thanks in advance for your help. I'm looking to offer an app for a one-time payment. I'd also like people to be able to try the app for a week. It seems that the "Pricing and Availability" section in App Store Connect is not the right place to configure this kind of offer. It does allow me to set a one-time price, but I cannot find a trial-period there (or am I missing something?) Two different strategies seem possible here: Using in-app-purchases: make the actual app free, but ask users after a week to buy a non-consumable IAP. The problem with that: I need to verify that the app has been installed for seven days ... even if it has been uninstalled at some point. Using subscriptions: There is a "free trial" option for subscriptions. But after that free trial, subscriptions are being payed periodically. I'd rather have the user only pay once for lifetime-access. Some apps seem to use strategy 1 - I believe the "Lap swim" app does. But still it seems like a bit of a hack - is there a more elegant way to achieve this?

New App with Subscription Review
We are launching a new app with a subscription in-app purchase (IAP). The Status of the IAP is "Waiting for Review". We want to submit the app to app for review, but the section to select an IAP with the app is not appearing. According to online sources, if we submit a new app for review, without selecting the IAP that goes with it, then the app may be released in the App Store without users being able to purchase the IAP. This actually happened to us years ago and I can't remember how we got around it, but it was painful. It seems strange that Apple would allow this problem to persist for years. Why not just hire an intern to fix it? Maybe because they are too busy running around in circles at the new spaceship headquarters. Regardless, our IAP has been sitting in "Waiting for Review" status for a while now and I'm concerned it may never be approved. Any advice would be appreciated.

How to cancel Auto-renewable subscription bought in TestFlight?
I've read several topics on cancelling subscriptions in sandbox environment, but it seems to me that it could not be applied to TestFlight. I can cancel sandbox subscriptions through Settings > App Store > Sandbox account But since TestFlight does not use sandbox account I cannot cancel a sub from there. Also, TF purchase does not appear in the list of regular subscriptions (Settings > Profile > Media & Purchases). So my question is: is there any way to manually cancel auto-renewable subscription bought in TestFlight build of the app?

Not able to renew membership
You can still renew your membership within the next 8 days and your apps will remain available on the App Store during this time. Open the Apple Developer app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Sign in to your account, tap/click Renew, and follow the prompts. I'm getting this message but renew button is not visible in Developer App or on website. How to to renew?

SubscriptionStoreView showing 'The subscription is unavailable in the current storefront.' in production (StoreKit2)
I Implement a 'SubscriptionStoreView' using 'groupID' into a project (iOS is targeting 17.2 and macOS is targeting 14.1).Build/run the application locally (both production and development environments will work fine), however once the application is live on the AppStore in AppStoreConnect, SubscriptionStoreView no longer shows products and only shows 'Subscription Unavailable' and 'The subscription is unavailable in the current storefront.' - this message is shown live in production for both iOS and macOS targets. There is no log messages shown in the Console that indicate anything going wrong with StoreKit 2, but I haven't made any changes to my code and noticed this first start appearing about 5 days ago. I expect the subscription store to be visible to all users and for my products to display. My application is live on both the iOS and macOS AppStores, it passed App Review and I have users who have previously been able to subscribe and use my application, I have not pushed any new changes, so something has changed in StoreKit2 which is causing unexpected behaviour and for this error message to display. As 'SubscriptionStoreView' is a view provided by Apple, I'm really not sure on the pathway forward other than going back to StoreKit1 which I really don't want to do. Is there any further error information that can be provided on what might be causing this and how I can fix it? (I have created a feedback ticket FB13658521)

How do subscription promotional offers work for currently subscribed customers?
Hello, I'm trying to understand what happens when a subscribed customer of a subscription A purchases a promotional offer for the same subscription A. Let's say the product is a yearly subscription priced at $100. When the month 7 starts (6 months remaining in the regular subscription period), I send the user a promotional offer for the same product but priced at $25 for the first year (100$ afterwards) and he accepts the offer. Is the promotional offer started only at the end of the current year (after the 6 remaining months) or is it started immediately and he gets a pro-rata refund for the 6 remaining months? Thanks.

Auto-renewing Subscription Updates not Arriving
This is a copy of a reply to this post. https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/722222?page=1 I'm posting as new in the hope someone might have more up-to-date information, as I'm pulling out what little hair I have left. I'm using Storekit 2, testing in Xcode with a local Storekit config file. I have created a very minimal system to investigate this issue. I have a SwiftUI-based window using SubscriptionStoreView, and my app set up with the usual listener. I have four types of auto renewing subscription, configured in the local Storekit config file. With my app running, I subscribe to the lowest-level subscription I offer, via the SubscriptionStoreView. Notification of the inital purchase arrives, but subsequent auto-renewals do not trigger any action in my listener for Transaction.updates. They arrive as expected in the Transaction Manager. Radio silence in my listener. If I upgrade one subscription (via my SubscriptionStoreView) I see this reflected in the UI immediately, and also in the Transaction Manager, but the update that arrives in Transaction.updates refers to the old subscription, and has the isUpgraded flag set to false. Also, can anyone remind me what the grey warning triangle next to entries in the Transaction Manager means. I'm assuming it means unfinished, as that's what the sidebar indicates. Can the testing system really be this broken, or am I wildly off the mark? Unless I'm doing something fundamentally wrong this all seems extremely flakey, but happy to be proved wrong. I find this all rather unsettling if I can't test reliably, and am concerned that I my app may end up in this situation if I use storekit 2: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/73530849/storekit-renewal-transactions-missing-in-transaction-all-or-transaction-updates

Subscription Unavailable - Strange Behavior with StoreKit
I added my first subscription to my app using StoreKit's SubscriptionStoreView. Everything worked as expected in the debug environment and also in TestFlight. So I submitted my app and subscriptions to App Store Connect, got everything Approved and released. After updating my app through App Store and checking the Subscription View, it just says "Subscription Unavailable. The subscription is unavailable in the current storefront." I waited around 3 days and still getting the same message. Now the very strange behavior starts. I went to App Store Connect, I made and edit to the subscription description, saved, removed the edit, saved, and submitted to review. 15 minutes later the subscriptions appear in my app and everything works as expected. After getting the edit approved, the Subscription View in my app again only showed the message "Subscription Unavailable. The subscription is unavailable in the current storefront." No user is able to see the subscriptions anymore, even though it worked as expected before the edit was approved. So I did the same as before. Again, make an edit to the subscription description, save, remove the edit, save, submit to review. 15 minutes later the subscriptions are again available in my app and it works as expected. This is definitely not the expected behavior and submitting the subscription edits every day is wasting the App Review Team's time as well as mine. I contacted Apple Developer Support but I didn't get any reply back (at least yet). I am not the only one experiencing this. I found a friend online who has the exact same issue, and is able to temporarily solve it by making an edit to the subscription description as well. So far it has been a huge headache, and we are losing customers this way. Please if anyone has experience with this problem, or has any suggestions, they will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much, Tomas

App Stuck at Paywall Screen Due to Pending Subscription Review
Hello everyone, I’m facing an issue with my app where it's stuck at the paywall screen because my app has been approved but my subscriptions are still "Waiting for Review". This prevents me from fetching the subscription options needed to display behind the paywall. I've resubmitted my app multiple times and also created tickets and used Feedback Assistant to report this issue, but I haven't received a resolution yet. Has anyone encountered a similar situation or have any suggestions on how to resolve this? My app is live, but without approved subscriptions, users can't access its full functionality. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Subscription was rejected more as 3 times
I have created an app with one subscription for one year. The subscriptions was rejected for more as 3 time. But I don't know, what I must do. No description or no email from apple. Only I can see "developer action is needed". I have changed the name of the subscription group, I have changed the localization. but also it was rejected. I have resubmitted an app version with text, that the subscription to checked. but the app was distributed only the subscription. the text was ignored. now the state for the group localization is in waiting for review. but, the subscription under the subscription group is approved. what can I do?

Issue with "Transaction.currentEntitlements": Some paid users cannot use the features of our subscription plan
Some paid users are unable to use the paid features unlocked by purchasing our subscription plan. It seems that this is due to StoreKit 2's Transaction.currentEntitlements not working the way we would expect it to work. Are you also encountering this issue? Do you have any idea to improve this situation? At launch, our app checks if the user is subscribed to the plan, using Transaction.currentEntitlements. As a result, the currentEntitlements array was empty. Our app then fetches the products from StoreKit 2 using Product.products(for:). As a result, the Product.SubscriptionInfo.RenewalState value of the corresponding Product (product.subscription.status.first.state) is subscribed, which confirms that the user has indeed purchased our plan, but seems to contradict the absence of the corresponding transaction in Transaction.currentEntitlements. Proactive in-app purchase restore and a restore purchase button calling the AppStore.sync() method are implemented, but using the button did not solve the issue.

Thanks.
