Hi, experts,
I want to find Siri response window by bundle id and use it for checking or printing, here is my example code:
XCUIDevice.shared.siriService.activate(voiceRecognitionText: "call mom")
let siriApp = XCUIApplication(bundleIdentifier: "***")
// Print out text from siriApp,
// expecte print: "Sorry, I can't make a phone call with your iphone."
Where should I put into ***?
I tried "com.apple.SiriViewService", "com.apple.siri.velocity", "com.apple.springboard' but nothing work
Any suggestion appreciated, thanks!

I'm using Xcode 16.3 and I want to add the key "NSUbiquitousContainers" but I cannot do it in the Entitlements file, it should be in info.plist file! I have done it before but in previous versions of Xcode when the info.plist was in the project navigator.
However, now I cannot find the file and I did not find any way to create it!
Please guide me in detail how to proceed (I'm not new to Swift or SwiftUI but not familiar to project settings)?
Hello,
I currently have a live application in the iOS App Store that needs an update to start functioning again, but I've lost the source code in a hard drive failure. Is there a way to reverse engineer the currently deployed package that is live (and also a way to download it from App Store Connect)⁉️
The development change itself is just a very small change for an API route in the code itself. I could even direct an engineer at Apple to make the change in 5 minutes!
Let me know if this is possible.
Thanks❗️
I am converting a project to expo and have created a new expo project. I have migrated most of the react-native code but need to add a native module. I added it using npx create-expo-module expo-settings --local
The name of the module DataRetrieval.
So far so good but I need a package SwiftCSV. I added it as a dependency to Pods and did a npx pod-install but when I try to import SwiftCSV as a subproject, it is not found. So I tried adding to the DataRetrieval podspec an s.dependency 'SwiftCSV'. I then get an error that there is a redefining of symbols. I am able to include this in a regular Swift file but not in the sub-module under expo. What am I missing about how to not only add a native module but to add dependencies and include it in my project?
Thanks,
Ray

About three weeks ago I submitted a DTS ticket (13097367) to receive code level support with a potential SwiftUI bug. At first I did not receive any response at all (beside the automatic confirmation that the ticket has been created).
Only after posting the question here, I got a reply from a DTS engineer. However, the proposed solution did not really solve the problem but only circumvents it (UI freezes when ScrollView reaches below SafeArea. Solution: Do not use ScrollView below SafeArea...)
I pointed out, that this does not really help me. Since then I did not receive any further response.
Is this normal? Is there something wrong with my ticket? Maybe it was closed by accident or something?
Thank you very much!
I'm running the latest iOS 26 beta 5 on my iPad and iPhone. Whenever I run these betas, I always get the message below telling me an update is available (whenever I plug in my devices). I'm assuming this is because the update check is detecting that I have something other than the latest production release. Obviously, it makes no sense to ask me to update to a prod build when I'm running the dev beta. Is there a way to turn this message off? Or maybe Apple could handle this situation better? Or maybe it's just a bug and I'm the only one getting this message?

Hello,
I have created a .NET MAUI application in Windows Visual Studio 2022.
Also I have a MAC fully configured with latest Visual Studio for MAC and Xcode Installed.
When pairing the MAC for windows machine I am able to run the simulators for various IPhone devices(as they are attached to MAC) but when I try to run for the MacCatalyst from my Windows machine it doesnt work.
Is it possible to create a build for the MAUI application for MacCatalyst from my windows machine. The build should be created in my Windows folder directory.?
Hi everyone, I've been trying to integrate with Microsoft EntraID for more than a week. I've followed every tutorial, ChatGPT, Cloude.ai, etc, but nothing works, and I realized that the problem is setting up information inside the Info.plist correctly. In the old days, we were able to edit it, but now it's a mess. I'm working with Xcode 15.2. Unfortunately, my computer does not accept more upgrades. Yes, I know I have to buy a new one, but I'm not sure if the new version will help me solve that. Does anyone have a project example or some experience with Microsoft EntraID authentication using SwiftUI?
All the examples in the project are really old and usually don't use SwiftUI

It used to work for me (a few months, maybe a year ago). Right now when I run it there is no output (even though I granted it Bluetooth Capture permissions and have working RFCOMM communication in my program).
Versions:
PacketLogger 2024.03.18 (2024.03.18d1)
Sequoia 15.4.1
M2 chip
I noticed that there are numerous missing source repositories. For instance:
https://github.com/apple-oss-distributions/IOHIDFamily/blob/07b14847cb5b4e0f826a3970961624969e443a6e/IOHIDFamily.xcodeproj/project.pbxproj#L4274
Many files referenced in the xcodeproj are listed but do not actually exist in the repositories.

How to add speech recognition in + capability in Xcode there is no "Speech Recognition" in the list.
So I can see from the documentation that XCTAssertEqual(x, y) becomes #expect(x == y), but what about XCTAssertEqual(x, y, accuracy: 0.2)?
Does something already exist or do we need to write a more involved statement to see if x is less than y plus z and more than y minus z?
I am submitting new App for review and it is rejected due to Crash on iPad
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Subtype: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000000000000
I am not able to reproduce the same locally, have tested app against same iOS and all the device type but no crash.
Can someone help provide some pointers on how to debug/investigate the issue.
Attached is the crash report I received:

Hi all,
First time trying to upload a game to the App Store, having some trouble with it.
I have managed to build my Unity Project and get it onto Xcode, but when I click "distribute app" it is giving me this error.
Asset validation failed, Invalid Bundle. The bundle at
(app name).app/Frameworks/UnityFramework.framework' contains disallowed file 'Frameworks'.
Xcode version 16.2
Unity editor version 2022.3.30f1
Anyone know how to get past this? Many thanks!
Hi there
I've recently had my upload rejected in Xcode Organizer as a result of one of the frameworks we use containing
bitcode.
Error: [ContentDelivery.Uploader.XXXXXXXXXX] Validation failed (409) Invalid Executable. The executable 'Sam.app/Frameworks/Foo.framework/Foo' contains bitcode.
Is there an accurate way to determine whether an .xcframework contains bitcode ahead of time without using Xcode Organiser?
My current methodology is below, please can I get some confirmation that this is accurate, or suggest a more efficient approach?
I have concerns about my approach and whether it throws false positives for empty bitcode markers.
1. get original framework size
2. run xcrun bitcode_strip -r framework_path -o temp
3. get new framework size
4. if new size is smaller than original, then it contains bitcode
Thanks for the help,
Sam

Hi,
I really appreciate the C++ binding provided.
I got the metal-cpp source code from the website at Getting Started. However, I could not find the same for metal-cpp-extensions. Is it not available or do we have to always extract it from the sample code?
Thanks.
Hello,
In my IOS app, I have been working on implementing a third-party library's xcframework into my app. (They don't provide spm or cocoapods). However, whenever I import the XCFramework into my app, the build is successful, but when uploading to App Store Connect, I receive an email with an error stating the Swift Support folder is missing. This app was made using SwiftUI. I have a sample project linked below. Other apps also use this framework, so I'm not sure where I'm going wrong.
Project
By default, AppleClang adds /usr/local/include to the application search folders for include files (as opposed to the system include dirs). This causes problems with the expected include order because application search folders always have priority over system includes. Specifically it causes problems with the conan package manager as library includes are added with -isystem
This behaviour differs from LLVM mainline clang and GCC, where /usr/local/include is a system include (added with -internal-isystem).
Steps to reproduce -
run
echo 'int main() { return 0; }' | clang -xc -v -
the output is as follows
Apple clang version 17.0.0 (clang-1700.0.13.5)
Target: arm64-apple-darwin24.5.0
Thread model: posix
InstalledDir: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin
"/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/clang" ... -isysroot /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk
-I/usr/local/include
-internal-isystem /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/local/include ...
By default, it seems 15.6 is shipped with
git version 2.39.5 (Apple Git-154)
I was wondering when Apple will ship a Git version above 2.43 to resolve this vulnerability.
Git Carriage Return Line Feed (CRLF) Vulnerability (CVE-2025-48384)
https://github.com/git/git/security/advisories/GHSA-vwqx-4fm8-6qc9
You can install Homebrew then install newer versions of git using Homebrew; however that installs in a new location so the vulnerability is still present as the native version is behind and updated by Apple during software updates
Thanks
