Hey guysI’ve been trying to pay for Apple Developer Program enrollment for about a week and still no luck. As well as I got from a small talk with the customer support – Apple never got my money. So it seems like my payment authorization fails all the time. But I don’t know what’s really going on.Have any of you ever had issues like that?Or maybe you just know what’s going on and how to fix it?

Since upgrading to Xcode 26 beta 4 and using the iOS 26 simulator for testing our app, we've stopped being able to receive device tokens for the simulator from the development APNS environment.
The APNS environment is able to return meta device information (e.g. model, type, manufacturer) but there are no device tokens present. When running the same app using the iOS 18.5 simulator, we are able to register the device with the same APNS environment and receive a valid device token.
We have developed a Parental/Self control app using Screen time API.
We have used individual authentication to authorize the app, using the instructions here:
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/familycontrols/authorizationcenter
The problem is , that individual auth can be disabled easily , by the following steps:
enter Settings app.
in Settings app, click on the Parental/Self control app.
click to disable screen time restriction.
show the device owner's face/fingerprint. (or pin code)
Why is that a problem:
Parental control apps, or self-control apps, are about giving control to the software, To make it hard for the user to disable the restrictions.
So using the flow I have introduced above, it's super-easy for a user to disable his Parental control restrictions, which misses the entire point of Parental/Self control idea.
Furthermore, not only the user have the means to unlock his screen time restrictions, he also MUST have the means to unlock it.
This makes Screen time (with individual auth) useless:
I have a code ready to make a great parental control app for my clients, with amazing ideas, but I can't use the Screen time API unless this problem is fixed.
Why child-parent auth is not enough:
My clients are grownups people between ages of 15-40, that are interested in self-control, so they don't have iCloud child accounts.
also, the child-parent auth solution forces my clients to give some control to other person, and my clients prefer their privacy. Some of them prefer self-control and not parental-control.
What I suggest as a solution:
1: Give more options to users how to disable the Screen time restrictions. including:
a second faceID / FingerPrint (that isn't the same as the one used to unlock the device)
a second pin password.
a string password
2: Give the users the option to choose to not have the device's owner Face/Finger/Pincode ID , as a method to disable the Screen time restrictions.
Hello,
I am having a recurring issue using Swift Playgrounds version 4.6.4 on macOS 26.1.
Upon opening a file and every other time I start typing in the code section I get a prompt, the image below, two or three times. It doesn't matter if I accept or decline all or some of the prompts, as soon as I start typing on another line I get prompted another two or three times for permission.
It appears to me that prompt generates every time the preview pane tries to update. Declining the prompt breaks the preview but accepting the prompt only gets you through a single line of code before it appears again.
I believe this issue started after I updated to macOS26.1 as I had not encountered it before. I've also opened other files with Swift Playgrounds and encounter the same problem.
It could also be unrelated to the update and could be an issue with some permission setting somewhere, however, I have been unable to find what or where it could be.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Thank you for your time :)
My team recently released an app to the iOS app store. We are trying to add the Smart App Banner to our website to promote the app, but the banner is not shown. When the page loads, there is a flash of an empty Smart App Banner before it is automatically dismissed. This happens on every page load. If I put use an app ID of other apps the banner appears. I've triple checked that I'm using the correct app ID. So it seems like it is an issue with my app. I can see my app in the App Store, so I know it's available. I've tested on multiple phones.
My app start up has became horrid. It takes 1 minute to open SQLlite database for my rust core. Impossible to work...
I have Address Sanitizer, Thread Perf Checker and Thread Sanitizer disabled...
Recently I got an email stating I need to update age rating questionnaire. I have tried to update age rating for my app in App Store using the account owner already. I have followed this tutorial (https://developer.apple.com/help/app-store-connect/manage-app-information/set-an-app-age-rating/), but the age rating cannot be updated. Anyone know how to update this, please let me know

webkitEnterFullScreen API is supported on iOS for video element, but not for a div element. Also as a fullscreen demo website shown, Safari on macOS supports div element but not on iOS. Is there any plan to add the support in iOS? If not is there any way to fullscreen a div element or make it run as fullscreen on Safari iOS?
On macOS 26.1 (25B78) I can't give Full Disk Access to sshd-keygen-wrapper. Now my Jenkins jobs do not work because they do not have the permission to execute the necessary scripts. Until macOS 26.1 everything worked fine. I restarted the machine several times and tried to give access from Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Full Disk Access but it just does not work. I tried logging with ssh on the machine and executing a script but again nothing happened.
Hi all,
Has anyone else run into this issue in Xcode 26?
I’m logged into my paid ChatGPT Plus account, but the Xcode integration doesn’t seem to recognize the subscription. After a short period of use, I get the following error:
“Over daily limit. ChatGPT in Xcode will be unavailable for up to 24 hours. For higher limits, sign in with a paid ChatGPT account.”
Since I’m already signed in with a paid account, this looks like either a bug or a limitation specific to Xcode.
Is this expected behavior, or has anyone found a workaround to make Xcode properly recognize Plus accounts?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Hi,
After updating to iOS 26, our app is facing playback failures with AVPlayer. The same code and streams work fine on iOS 18 and earlier.
Error - Domain[CoreMediaErrorDomain]:Code[-15628]:Desc[The operation couldn’t be completed.]:Underlying Error Domain[(null)]:Code[0]:Desc[(null)]
Environment:
iOS version: ios 26
React Native: 0.69
Video library: react-native-video (AVPlayer under the hood)
Stream type: HLS (m3u8) with segment (.ts) files
Observed behaviour:
Playback works initially on iOS 26.
On iOS 26, the stream fails at runtime after a few seconds/minutes (not on first load).
Network logs show 307 redirects on some segment requests. After this, AVPlayer throws the above error.
Playback fails intermittently on slow/unstable networks.
As per the US state law including SB2420 in Texas.
We are suppose to meet their compliance.
We have following queries
Could you please confirm whether the provided Declared Age Range API framework is available for sandbox testing
How does the API respond for a region other than Texas
I have been working for a while now. Never encountered this issue. After accepting the invite from the organization. The organizations does not appear at developer apple account. But can see the organization at app store connect. Yes i have checked the account permissions. I have the admin role and developer role etc is checked everything is correct. This is not just me happening with my colleague as well.
When I use the .zoom transition in a navigation stack, I get a glitch when interrupting the animation by swiping back before it completes.
When doing this, the source view disappears. I can still tap it to trigger the navigation again, but its not visible on screen.
This seems to be a regression in iOS 26, as it works as expected when testing on iOS 18.
Has someone else seen this issue and found a workaround? Is it possible to disable interrupting the transition?

We have a custom SecurityAgentPlugin that is triggered by multiple authorizationdb entries. Some customers report that the SecurityAgent process takes window focus even though no UI or windows are displayed.
Our plugin explicitly ignores the _securityAgent user and does not show any UI for that user. However, in macOS 26.1, it appears that the plugin still causes the SecurityAgent to take focus as soon as it is triggered.
Is this a change in macOS 26.1 or a bug? Can we do anything to prevent "focus stealing"?

Several app developers are struggling with the inability to provide a separate app icons that looks nice on older macOS versions while at the same time provide Icon Composer icons that look great on macOS Tahoe 26. An ability to provide separate icons is super important to those who have app icons that follow the curvature of the default icon borders (as the corner rounding radius is different for Sequia and Tahoe). Take a look at this for example:
https://github.com/ghostty-org/ghostty/issues/7564#issuecomment-3042061547
Question: Is there a definitive/recommended way to address this issue? How can a developer add a glass icon variant that looks good on Tahoe and provide a bitmap icon for older macOS versions?
Some background info:
Prior to Xcode 26 beta 4, one could add an App Icon to Assets to be used as app icon for legacy macOS versions (Sequia and older) and use a new Icon Composer icon (placed in the project root) for macOS Tahoe 26. Enabling "Include all app icon assets" under target settings ensured that older macOS versions would use the old app icons while Tahoe the new Icon Composer glass one.
Since Xcode beta 4 this technique no longer works. Xcode instead insists on populating Assets.car with Icon Composer generated variants, disregarding the App Icon provided in Assets. Although the App Icon in Assets makes its way to a .incs file in the app bundle's Contents/Resources folder, but that is not used by macOS anymore and is there for some compatibility purposes. The Assets.car file (which matters) only contains the variants generated by Icon Composer and does not contain the png icons provided in the Assets.
Using desaturated mode on an image in a widget will break any links or buttons that use the image as their 'label'.
Using the following will just open the app as if there was no link at all - therefore just using the fallback userActivity handler, or any .widgetURL() urls provided.
Link(destination: URL(string: "bug://never-works")!) {
Image("puppy")
.widgetAccentedRenderingMode(.desaturated)
}
The same goes for buttons:
Button(intent: MyDemoIntent()) {
Image("puppy")
.widgetAccentedRenderingMode(.desaturated)
}
I've tried hacky solutions like putting the link behind the image using a ZStack, and disabling hit testing on the image, but they don't work. Anything else to try?

Dear all,
This is my first post in this forum - and, in fact, my first app, too! I'm glad to be here, and thanks in advance for your help.
I'm looking to offer an app for a one-time payment. I'd also like people to be able to try the app for a week.
It seems that the "Pricing and Availability" section in App Store Connect is not the right place to configure this kind of offer. It does allow me to set a one-time price, but I cannot find a trial-period there (or am I missing something?)
Two different strategies seem possible here:
Using in-app-purchases: make the actual app free, but ask users after a week to buy a non-consumable IAP. The problem with that: I need to verify that the app has been installed for seven days ... even if it has been uninstalled at some point.
Using subscriptions: There is a "free trial" option for subscriptions. But after that free trial, subscriptions are being payed periodically. I'd rather have the user only pay once for lifetime-access.
Some apps seem to use strategy 1 - I believe the "Lap swim" app does. But still it seems like a bit of a hack - is there a more elegant way to achieve this?

Can't Edit Age Ratings in App Information Section of App Store Connect for released App Versions. I only have option to View. I think some of the Age Rating questions are still unanswered but when I view them, I can't Edit them. Non-released apps of mine in App Store Connect allow me to edit answers to the Age Ratings questions but I can only View Age Rating questions for released apps. Do I have to create a new version/build and submit to App Store Connect to be able to Edit the Age Questions?
