W-9 shown for single-member US LLC owned by a non-US individual — should be W-8BEN (disregarded entity)
Hello! I have a new organization-level Apple Developer account and I'm stuck on the Tax Forms step in App Store Connect (https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/business). The system is showing me U.S. Form W-9 as the only option, but in my case filling out a W-9 would be incorrect — and I'd appreciate guidance from anyone who has resolved this. My setup: I am a non-US individual (not a US citizen, not a US resident, never lived in the US). I am the sole owner of a single-member LLC registered in the US (set up via Firstbase specifically to distribute a mobile app). For US federal tax purposes, this LLC is a disregarded entity — it's not treated as a separate taxpayer from its owner. Why W-9 is not the correct form in my case: The IRS instructions for Form W-9 explicitly state: "If the owner of the disregarded entity is a foreign person, the owner must complete an appropriate Form W-8 instead of a Form W-9. This is the case even if the foreign person has a U.S. TIN." Form W-9 also requires me to certify, under penalty of perjury, that I am a US person — which I am not. The LLC itself doesn't certify anything on a W-9 because it's disregarded; the IRS looks through to the beneficial owner, who in my case is a foreign individual. The correct form for me should be W-8BEN (Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner — Individuals). What I've already tried: I opened two support cases 4 days ago and have not received a substantive response yet: Apple Developer Support — Case ID: 20000112974233 Ack Tax / Tax category settings — Team ID: 7YYWN3MYCY, Case ID: 19944616 My questions: Has anyone in the same situation (non-US individual, sole owner of a US single-member LLC) successfully switched the tax form from W-9 to W-8BEN inside App Store Connect? If so, how? Is there a specific path in the Business / Tax Forms section to declare the beneficial owner as a foreign individual that I might be missing? Is there an escalation channel beyond the standard support cases for tax-form issues that are blocking onboarding? Thanks in advance for any pointers.

My enrollment request (H9V8P25F67) has been accepted, but now I'm getting a Sign In error in App Store Connect
The epic saga of registering an Apple Developer Account for my company seems to have been successfully resolved. The full story can be read here My account has been approved, I've paid the membership fee, and everything appears to be in order. Huge thanks to everyone, especially the Apple staff members who didn't stay indifferent and went out of their way to help. Current status: My developer account is active. I can sign in to https://developer.apple.com/account and see that everything looks fine - there are no pending actions on my side (no agreements to sign, etc.), and the account appears completely normal. However, when I try to sign in to App Store Connect, I get the following error: To access App Store Connect, you must be an individual or team member in the Apple Developer Program, or invited by an individual to access their content in App Store Connect. (https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/login?errorKey=ITC.signin.error.invalidUser.asc) I'm attaching a screenshot. What I've already tried: Clearing browser cache, trying different browsers and devices, and waiting for some time — none of this helped. On May 9, I submitted a support request (Case ID: 20000112974233), but I still haven't received a response. My guess is that my account may have exhausted its Apple Developer Support request limit, since during the original issue I sent dozens of messages and may have used up my quota. This is just a hypothesis, but if I'm right, I would be very grateful if my ability to receive Apple Developer Support could be restored. Thank you in advance. For reference: similar case: I also did some research and found that another forum user had the same issue, which was resolved through Apple Developer Support (hopefully this helps point in the right direction): https://discussions.apple.com/thread/255265181 Thanks in advance for any help!

Can't register Apple Developer Account - stuck for 2.5 months
I set up a single-member LLC through Firstbase.io. My colleague obtained a DUNS number using the Certificate of Incorporation and EIN Verification Letter provided by Firstbase. Once we had the DUNS, I applied for an Apple Developer Account (Enrollment ID: 54AML988C5). I used my personal MacBook that I've had for years, but had to create a new Apple ID since I already have a personal Apple developer account that's been active for 8+ years. Documents I submitted with the enrollment: My passport EIN Verification Letter (with my name on it) Certificate of Incorporation A month later I received a rejection: "We're unable to proceed with your enrollment in the Apple Developer Program at this time. You can still take advantage of great content using your Apple Account to develop and test apps on your own device." Support doesn't respond to messages. The "Request a call" button on developer.apple.com/support literally does nothing — clicking it has no effect. I contacted D&B to make sure our company data was correct. They confirmed everything was fine, and at my request they updated the company profile so that my name now explicitly appears as Key Principal on the D&B website. Reached out to Apple support again — still no response. I then created a second Apple ID on our corporate domain (developer@mydomain_com) and submitted another enrollment (Enrollment ID: H9V8P25F67). Got the exact same rejection with the exact same wording. And once again — no response from support. What's especially surprising is that reaching out to Apple support from my personal developer account - which is active and in good standing - about this situation doesn't lead anywhere either. They simply don't respond. Has anyone dealt with this? What can actually be done here?
