Hi everyone,
I completed my Apple Developer account enrollment nearly a week ago (ID: G256C6S5Q2), but despite sending multiple emails to Apple Support, I haven’t received any confirmation or reply.
When I enter my account it is stuck on the "Complete your purchase" screen (I received payment confirmation) and nothing happened since then. I ’m eager to publish my app and get started on development, so I really need them to reach out to me—ideally with a call or a direct response.
Does anyone have any advice on how to escalate this issue or any tips on how to get Apple Support to contact me? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time and support!

Hi,
This maybe somewhat confusing, but please bear with me.
I currently have an app in the App Store that supports iOS and tvOS. But the tvOS version was a separate app during the development process. I'd like to combine the iOS and tvOS app into one project so its easier to handle and keep track of internally.
Can I upload the new Apple TV version to the same place where the current one is, or would I have to delete the current Apple TV version before uploading the newly combined version?
I hope I made that clear enough :-)
Thank you,
Dan Uff
I just made clean data on simulator then started getting the below error built on Xcode ?
Showing Recent Issues
Entitlements file "Clinic.entitlements" was modified during the build, which is not supported. You can disable this error by setting 'CODE_SIGN_ALLOW_ENTITLEMENTS_MODIFICATION' to 'YES', however this may cause the built product's code signature or provisioning profile to contain incorrect entitlements.

I've recently upgraded my project from Xcode 15 to Xcode 16. Without changing any build settings or compiler flags, I noticed that the final executable size has increased significantly when building the same C++ code.
Investigation:
To investigate further, I compared the Link Map outputs from both versions of Xcode. One key difference I found:
The symbol size for std::sort increased from 4,336 bytes (Xcode 15) to 6,084 bytes (Xcode 16) – a ~40% increase.
This seems to be part of a broader trend where other standard library symbols are also taking up more space in the binary when built with Xcode 16.
Questions:
Has Apple Clang or libc++ in Xcode 16 changed the implementation of STL algorithms like std::sort?
Are there changes in inlining, template instantiation, or debug info that could explain the increase?
Is this expected behavior? If so, is there any guidance on minimizing the binary size regression?
Hi,
We are facing issues on ios simulators os version 18, "Simulator device failed to install the application. Failed to create promise. Underlying error (domain=IXErrorDomain, code=2):"
Due to this error simulator is unable to install the application. we are facing this intermittently.
xcode version : Xcode.16.0.0.16A242d.app
ios simulator runtime : com.apple.CoreSimulator.SimRuntime.iOS-18-0

mac os version : macOS 15.4
we have tried upgrading to xcode Xcode.16.1.0.16B40.app and ios simulator runtime to 18.1 but its not working. Also we have rebooted xcode, not helping.

I updated the icons in Xcode to customize the appearance of my app icons to be light, dark, or tinted. The app is allowed to be downloaded and run on iPadOS. The app icon behaves as expected on iOS however the app icon does not change on the iPad. Am I missing a step for the iPad? To be clear the app does not target iPadOS rather it is just running the iOS version.
Thanks

I have Xcode on my mac. I am iOS Dev. I do not know what version of Xcode was before I did next steps, but I could say that I had iOS Simulator 18.3.1.
So I update my Xcode to Version 16.3 (16E140). At this version is available iOS Simulator 18.4. But from some time before Xcode separate downloading components and actual Xcode itself. So i make update and do not download latest iOS simulator.
What i have:
in Xcode -> Settings -> Components under " Other Installed Platforms" i have iOS 18.3.1 and 17.5
in Choose Destination dropdown menu i have nothing. And Xcode say me that i need install iOS Simulator.
After some time with ChatGPT I could not do nothing from this. I try go to : Window -> Device and Simulators and here create new simulator with 18.3.1 and make it appear Always. But it didn't help.
Solution I did: I download latest version 18.4 because i could not wait because i need fix bug only 1 hour shift and it was this hour so i fast download the simulator.
After downloading 18.4 in Choose Destination dropdown it appears all versions of simulaors and 18.3.1 and that i created and 17.5
Question:
Does Xcode force to install latest version of iOS simulator?
What is the sense of this upgrade that now Xcode is updating faster because it download 8 GB not 16 if eventually I need download 8 GB again ? The new what i could do download Xcode in the evening and Simulator in the morning?
I am trying to integrate Apple Music API using MusicKit and need to generate a Developer Token. However, when I try to create a new key from the Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles section, the “Media Services (MusicKit, ShazamKit, Apple Music Feed)” option is grayed out. We are getting the error 'there are no identifiers available that can be associated with the key.' Although we did checkmark 'musickit' in app services.
I have already:
Enrolled in the paid Apple Developer Program
Created a valid App ID under Identifiers
Logged in as the Account Holder
Tried multiple browsers and devices
Despite this, the option remains disabled. Could you please enable this or let me know what further steps I need to take?
Thank you!

Hi guys, we are from australia, we applied apple developer program enrolment since dec 2024, and we are stuck in a loophole that after we pay the AUD$149 for the developer program, which reflect in the bank immediately, but it will show cancelled status next day, and the bank will get bounced back $149 in several days anyone can help?
We tried 6 cards, Mastercard, Visa, Prepaid, Amex, Credit card and Debit card, under different names but they are all Australian card. We emailed apple support team and we experienced 7+ agents who can't really help us and we enrolled 5+ times on both iPhone and Mac, developer app and web and everytime the results are the same!
Hi all,
I’m looking for a way to automate the process of adding Swift Package dependencies (SPM) into an Xcode project.
Right now, I’m doing this manually via:
Xcode → Project → Swift Packages → Add Package Dependency...
But I’d like to script this step — ideally as part of a CI/CD pipeline or a setup script. I explored the xcodeproj Ruby gem, but it doesn’t support adding SPM packages, and there's no official support for editing the .xcodeproj structure related to Swift Packages.
So my question is:
Is there any Apple-supported or community-supported way to programmatically add Swift Package dependencies to an Xcode project or workspace?
Would love to know if anyone has:
Used xcodebuild, xcodegen, or other tools for this
Explored editing project files directly (like project.pbxproj or Package.resolved)
Found any API or CLI hooks from Apple for this
Thanks in advance!

I have a VPN installed (Global Protect) on my company computer, which is a MacBook Pro M2, to access the company network, internal URLs, websites, and run the app I work on. However, even with the VPN installed, I am having trouble accessing certain resources. The solution found was to manually configure the proxies for my Wi-Fi network. After configuring the proxies, I was able to access all the company's URLs and everything I needed. However, the Xcode Simulator is not picking up these network configurations, and when I try to run the project, it does not work.
How can I solve this?

Hi, I'm currently facing an issue where my React Native app crashes only on a real iPhone. On the simulator and in Xcode preview, the app runs fine.
Previously, I had an issue with FlatList regarding props.getItem, which I solved by installing some missing Babel dependencies. After that, everything worked correctly in the simulator.
But when I try to open the app on a real device, it shows the splash screen and crashes immediately. I've already done a full clean and reset, including:
npx react-native start --reset-cache
Deleted node_modules and Pods, reinstalled everything
Cleaned build folder via Xcode
Deleted DerivedData
Restarted Metro bundler and simulator/device
The issue only happens on the physical device.
Here’s a portion of the crash log

The app stops on the breakpoint when "All Runtime Issues" is added. If I disable the breakpoint, the app runs normally. Is there a new project setting to avoid this breakpoint from being set. It does not appear to be a valid error. I am running Xcode 16.2. I edited the "Type" field in the breakpoint box. This occurs with the "System Frameworks" option only.
I'm integrating Apple Pay with PayFort in a Swift iOS application, and I’m currently working on preparing a valid purchase request using Apple Pay, as described in PayFort’s documentation:
🔗 https://docsbeta.payfort.com/docs/api/build/index.html?shell#apple-pay-authorization-purchase-request
The documentation outlines the following required parameters:
apple_data
apple_signature
apple_header
apple_transactionId
apple_ephemeralPublicKey
apple_publicKeyHash
apple_paymentMethod
apple_displayName
apple_network
apple_type
Optional: apple_applicationData
I understand these should be derived from the PKPayment object after Apple Pay authorization, but I’m having trouble mapping everything correctly. Here’s what I’m seeing in code:
payment.token
// Returns something like: <PKPaymentToken: 0x28080ae80; transactionIdentifier: "..."; paymentData: 3780 bytes>
payment.token.paymentData
// Contains 3780 bytes of encrypted data
payment.token.paymentData.base64EncodedString()
// Returns a long base64 string, which at first glance seems like it could be used for apple_data,
// but PayFort doesn't accept it as-is — so this value appears to be incomplete or incorrectly formatted
I can successfully retrieve the following values from payment.token.paymentMethod:
apple_displayName
apple_network
apple_type
However, I’m still unsure how to extract or build the following in the format accepted by PayFort:
apple_data
apple_signature
apple_header
apple_transactionId
apple_ephemeralPublicKey
apple_publicKeyHash
apple_paymentMethod
These may be contained within the paymentData JSON, but I’m not sure how to decode it or if Apple allows decrypting it in a way that matches PayFort’s expected format.
How can I correctly extract or build apple_data, apple_signature, and apple_header from the Apple Pay token?
Also, how should I handle the decryption or decoding (if necessary) of paymentData to retrieve values like apple_transactionId, apple_ephemeralPublicKey, and apple_publicKeyHash?
If anyone has successfully set this up or has example code that bridges Apple Pay and PayFort’s expected request format, it would be super helpful!
Thanks in advance 🙏

Hi,
I am getting an error stating "Argument passed to call that takes no arguments". I want this Apple Watch App to measure and store RR Intervals from the PPG sensor on the Apple Watch for Heart Rate Variability calculations. Please help me fix this, I can't figure it out. Here is my code:
heartbeatQuery = HKHeartbeatSeriesQuery(predicate: predicate,
dataReceivedHandler: { (query, timeSinceLastBeat, ended, error) in
// Switch to main thread for UI updates
DispatchQueue.main.async {
if let error = error {
print("Heartbeat query error: (error.localizedDescription)")
self.fetchErrorMessage = "Heartbeat query error: (error.localizedDescription)"
// Consider stopping the workout session if the query fails critically
// self.stopWorkoutSession()
return
}
if ended {
print("Heartbeat query indicates series ended.")
}
// Append valid RR intervals
if timeSinceLastBeat > 0 {
self.rrIntervals.append(timeSinceLastBeat)
self.beatCount += 1
}
} // End DispatchQueue.main.async
}) // End query data handler
// --- END OF PROBLEMATIC INITIALIZER ---
// Execute the query if it was created successfully
It recommends the fix as removing this part:
'(predicate: predicate,
dataReceivedHandler: { (query, timeSinceLastBeat, ended, error) in
// Switch to main thread for UI updates
DispatchQueue.main.async {
if let error = error {
print("Heartbeat query error: (error.localizedDescription)")
self.fetchErrorMessage = "Heartbeat query error: (error.localizedDescription)"
// Consider stopping the workout session if the query fails critically
// self.stopWorkoutSession()
return
}
if ended {
print("Heartbeat query indicates series ended.")
}
// Append valid RR intervals
if timeSinceLastBeat > 0 {
self.rrIntervals.append(timeSinceLastBeat)
self.beatCount += 1
}
} // End DispatchQueue.main.async
})'
But after I remove that it says "Cannot assign value of type 'HKHeartbeatSeriesQuery.Type' to type 'HKHeartbeatSeriesQuery'" PLEASE HELP ME
Thanks

I have an iOS app, and I am trying to add a companion WatchOS app. My iOS app depends on 2 libraries:
GoogleMobileAds
FirebaseAnalyticsWithoutAdIdSupport
When I add a new target for WatchOS, the preview build starts to fail. I am not adding any libraries to WatchOS. The Google Ads and Firebase Analytics libs are only under the iOS target.
I am unable to run the preview, I get an error when trying to build the watch scheme. The preview does not work. The build just crashes. I've included the error log below.
But, here are the steps I've tried so far:
Delete folders inside Derived Data
Run a clean build (Cmd + Option + Shift + K)
Delete scheme and create a new one
Reset Package Cache
Restart Xcode
Restart Macbook
But, it just does not work. I do not understand why the watchOS target is erroring for "GoogleUserMessagingPlatform" and "GoogleMobileAdsTarget" when those packages are not linked/used for the watchOS.
