I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program on February 3, 2026. The payment was completed successfully at the time of enrollment, but my membership status has remained “Pending” since then.
So far:
No request for additional documents or identity verification
No phone call from Apple
No follow-up email other than the payment confirmation
Apple Developer Support has been contacted, but no response yet
I understand that verification can take some time, but the complete lack of communication is concerning, especially since this is blocking active development and release planning.
If this is a known backlog or system-wide delay, some transparency from Apple would help. I’d also appreciate hearing whether others who enrolled in early February are seeing the same prolonged “Pending” state.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can share recent experiences or escalation paths.

Hello, I have already paid developer account fees with my this id. But Still I can see this https://gyazo.com/db985d124b85d0759a1662cf05b9d82a with my developer account. Can any one help me what's the issue with my account? How can I get solution for this account?Thanks
I hope you’re having a fantastic New Year and that your apps are doing great! This is my first time entering SSC , and I’m excited to share that I’m developing a screen timer app. The idea is to encourage you to take breaks by suggesting a run or workout instead of spending too much time on your screens.
I was wondering, have anyone else included short videos or animations in their entries before?
Also, could my screen time timer be running in the background? I know there are some limitations with integrations like HealthKit and Screen Time, which is why I’m using a regular countdown timer on the App Store as a prototype.
I’m just trying to clarify the rules below to make sure that it’s all good to go :
“If your submission includes any open source software, music, photos, artwork, or any other content that you do not have ownership rights in, you agree to (a) comply with all applicable licensing terms and copyright obligations and (b) provide an explanation of why it was used.”
And regarding any tracking stuff in the disqualification section, whereas nothing in the app should include: “You track and/or insert analytics code in your App Store meant to identify or track judges’ activity while they review your App Store.” But my app will only have a simple timer in it.

I've suddenly started seeing hundreds of the same block of four error messages (see attached image) when running my app on my iOS device through Xcode. I've tried Cleaning the Build folder, but I keep seeing these messages in the console but can't find anything about them.
Phone is running iOS 26.1. Xcode is at 16.4. Mac is on Sequoia 15.5. The app is primarily a MapKit SwiftUI based application.

During Apple Pay in-app provisioning (EV_ECC_v2), our iOS app successfully obtains the issuer provisioning certificates and generates cryptographic material. The flow fails when Apple posts the card blob to Apple’s broker (card creation step), returning HTTP 500 from .../broker/v4/devices/{SEID}/cards.
Steps:
Call issuerProvisioningCertificates?encryptionVersion=EV_ECC_v2
→ 200 OK; returns ECC leaf + Apple Root CA chain; nonce=2a831be4.
2. Build {encryptedCardData, activationData, ephemeralPublicKey}
3. POST /broker/v4/devices/{SEID}/cards
Expected: 200 OK on /broker/v4/devices/{SEID}/cards, or 5xx with a descriptive error if payload/cryptography is invalid.
Observed: 500 Internal Server Error from Apple broker on /cards (labeled “eligibility” in PassKit logs), causing a terminal failure in Wallet UI.
Hi Apple Developers,
I'm having a problem with evaluatedPolicyDomainState: on the same device, its value keeps changing and then switching back to the original. My current iOS version is 26.1.
I upgraded my iOS from version 18.6.2 to 26.1.
What could be the potential reasons for this issue?

A user reported that after making 3 purchases on July 8th, they have been unable to initiate new purchases, always receiving a prompt that the item has already been purchased. Upon investigation, we found that the previous transactions couldn't be finalized. We use StoreKit2 and have successfully called await transaction.finish() to end the transactions. However, every time a new payment is initiated, Transaction.unfinished still returns information about the previously completed transactions.
Could this be an issue with the device or Apple ID? The user has tried restarting the device and re-logging into their Apple ID, but these attempts were unsuccessful. Is there any way to resolve this?
The Apple transaction IDs that the user is unable to finalize are: 200002703899379, 200002703900716, 200002703902023.
Calling dlopen then dlclose causes an increase in the amount of memory used by the program. If I create a loop that calls dlopen / dlclose repeatedly on the same dynamic library, memory usage increases continuously. Is this a bug, or am I using dlopen / dlclose incorrectly?
I can reproduce this by modifying the sample code in the Apple Developer docs Creating Dynamic Libraries. If I modify Runtime.c, changing the line void *lib_handle = dlopen(lib_name, RTLD_NOW); to add the infinite loop, as below:
void *lib_handle = dlopen(lib_name, RTLD_NOW);
for (int ii = 0; ; ++ii) {
printf("loop %i\n", ii);
int close_err = dlclose(lib_handle);
printf("close error: %i\n", close_err);
printf("dlopen(%s, RTLD_NOW)\n", lib_name);
lib_handle = dlopen(lib_name, RTLD_NOW);
}
then opening and closing the dynamic library will succeed, but memory usage (as reported by top) will rapidly increase.
I'm running on x86_64 macOS 13.6.6. Full code for the modified Runtime.c is attached, the rest of the code is available in the Apple Developer docs.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks,
Chris

We're seeing a sharp uptick in BaseBoard/FrontBoardServices crashes since we migrated from UIApplicationDelegate to UIWindowSceneDelegate. Having exhausted everything on my end short of reverse engineering BaseBoard or making changes without being able to know if they work, I need help. I think all I need to get unstuck is an answer to these questions, if possible:
What does -[BSSettings initWithSettings:] enumerate over? If I know what's being enumerated, I'll know what to look for in our app.
What triggers FrontBoardServices to do this update? If I can reproduce the crash--or at least better understand when it may happen--I will be better able to fix it
Here's two similar stack traces:
App_(iOS)-crashreport-07-30-2025_1040-0600-redacted.crash
App_(iOS)-crashreport-07-30-2025_1045-0600-redacted.crash
Since these are private trameworks, there is no documentation or information on their behavior that I can find.
There are other forum posts regarding this crash, on here and on other sites. However, I did not find any that shed any insight on the cause or conditions of the crash. Additionally, this is on iPhone, not macOS, and not iPad. This post is different, because I'm asking specific questions that can be answered by someone with familiarity on how these internal frameworks work. I'm not asking for help debugging my application, though I'd gladly take any suggestions/tips!
Here's the long version, in case anyone finds it useful:
In our application, we have seen a sharp rise in crashes in BaseBoard and FrontBoardServices, which are internal iOS frameworks, since we migrated our app to use UIWindowSceneDelegate. We were using exclusively UIApplicationDelegate before. The stack traces haven't proven very useful yet, because we haven't been able to reproduce the crashes ourselves.
Upon searching online, we have learned that Baseboard/Frontsoardservices are probably copying scene settings upon something in the scene changing. Based on our crash reports, we know that most of our users are on an iPhone, not an iPad or macOS, so we can rule out split screen or window resizing. Our app is locked to portrait as well, so we can also rule out orientation changes. And considering the stack trace is in the middle of an objc_retain_x2 call, which is itself inside of a collection enumeration, we are assuming that whatever is being enumerated probably was changed or deallocated during enumeration. Sometimes it's objc_retain_x2, and sometimes it's a release call. And sometimes it's a completely different stack trace, but still within BaseBoard/FrontBoardServices. I suspect these all share the same cause.
Because it's thread 0 that crashed, we know that BaseBoard/FrontBoardServices were running on the main thread, which means that for this crash to occur, something might be changing on a background thread. This is what leads me to suspect a race condition.
There are many places in our app where we accidentally update the UI from a background thread. We've fixed many of them, but I'm sure there are more. Our app is large. Because of this, I think background UI are the most likely cause. However, since I can't reproduce the crash, and because none of our stack traces clearly show UI updates happening on another thread at the same time, I am not certain.
And here's the stack trace inline, in case the attachments expire or search engines can't read them:

I am developing a utility application for macOS. In the next version, I would like to access data files from multiple third-party web browsers.
However, requiring users to manually select and grant access to each browser’s folder individually would be inconvenient from a usability perspective. Therefore, I am considering requesting Full Disk Access for my app.
Is it realistic to expect App Store review approval when requesting Full Disk Access? Under what conditions or use cases is such permission typically accepted by Apple?
I would greatly appreciate any advice or experiences you can share.
Hi,
Problem
When playing videos on the Developer app on the Mac, there is no full screen button for the video.
So it is not possible to play the video in full screen.
Note
I am not referring to the app going into full screen, the issue is with there is no option to play the video in full screen.
Environment
OS: macOS 26.2 (25C56)
Developer app: Version 10.8.3 (1083.3.1)
Feedback

Question
Are others also facing this issue?
Is there a workaround?
Suggestion
This seems to be recurring problem that seems get broken with app / OS releases.
Please write some UI tests to ensure the full screen button is present.
Would really appreciate if this gets fixed.

Hello everyone,
I'm seeking advice from the community regarding an App Review rejection I've been struggling with.
Situation:
My Mac app, an application launcher, has been rejected under Guideline 5.2.5 for being "too similar to LaunchPad, which creates a misleading association with Apple."
After requesting specific feedback on what needs to change, I received only a generic response directing me to read the guidelines without any actionable details about which features or design elements are problematic.
My App's Differentiating Features:
My app includes numerous features that distinguish it from LaunchPad:
Windowed mode in addition to fullscreen
Category topbar with filtering capabilities
Resizable grid with customizable icon sizes and spacing
Advanced organization with custom categories, tags, and usage tracking
Different visual design language and interaction patterns
The Challenge:
I've observed several other app launchers on the Mac App Store that appear to share more similarities with LaunchPad than mine does (e.g., identical pagination, similar grid layouts, similar visual design). This makes it difficult to understand why my app specifically was flagged.
What I've Tried:
Provided detailed documentation of differentiating features
Requested specific feedback on which elements need changing
Compared my app to approved alternatives on the store
Received only a generic response with no actionable guidance
Questions for the Community:
Has anyone else faced this type of rejection for app launchers or similar utility apps?
What specific changes did you make that satisfied App Review?
Are there particular visual elements or features that App Review considers "off limits" for this category?
Should I consider filing a formal appeal, or is there a better path forward?
Are there any Apple engineers who might be able to provide insight into how to differentiate from built-in macOS apps while still solving the same user problem?
My Goal:
I'm not trying to clone LaunchPad - I'm trying to provide users with a more powerful, customizable alternative. However, without specific guidance on what crosses the line, I'm stuck in a loop where I can't make meaningful changes.
Any advice, experiences, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone successfully navigated a similar rejection?
Thank you in advance for your help!
Hello,
I am wondering how one can play music videos (with the actual video playing) with the ApplicationMusicPlayer using MusicKit for Swift?
There is not much documentation on this, so any help would be appreciated.

I have a file that can not be removed. When I attempt rm -f /Applications/CrashPlan.app I get "Operation not permitted"Here is the scenario, CrashPlan.app was installed on the MacBook Pro (MacBookPro14,2) running 10.14.4. I found out it was an older version of CrashPlan so I downloaded the installer for the new version and ran it. The installed failed and left behind a file of size 0K.-rw-r--r--@ 1 root admin 0 Apr 11 11:43 CrashPlan.appI then tried to remove the 0K file in terminal with sudo rm -f /Applications/CrashPlan.app and that failed with operation not permitted. I then booted into Recovery mode and ran csrutil disable from terminal and rebooted.sudo rm -f /Applications/CrashPlan.app still failed with operation not permitted.I ran csrutil status in terminal to make sure that sip was disabled and got back: System Integrity Protection status: disabled.I tried booting into single user mode and mounted the drive and tried to rm from there and got the same result. So, from single user mode I did the following:mv /Applications /ApplicationsOLDmkdir /Applicationsmv /ApplicationsOLD/* /Applications/and got an error "Operation not permitted" for CrashPlan.apprebooted and was able to install the new version of CrashPlan, but now I have a folder /ApplicationsOLD that I can not get rid of.Any ideas?
Since recently, when I try to close a thread I created on an answer of mine, I get the following error:
Trying later, next day, does not solve it. In the list of all threads, the post is not marked as answered.
But if I look via Chrome or plain Safari, I see the answer itself is marked as correct:
Which is not the case when opening in Safari Technology Preview (Release 233) where the same answer is still to be accepted:
We’ve encountered what appears to be a CoreML regression between macOS 26.0.1 and macOS 26.1 Beta.
In macOS 26.0.1, CoreML models run and produce correct results. However, in macOS 26.1 Beta, the same models produce scrambled or corrupted outputs, suggesting that tensor memory is being read or written incorrectly. The behavior is consistent with a low-level stride or pointer arithmetic issue — for example, using 16-bit strides on 32-bit data or other mismatches in tensor layout handling.
Reproduction
Install ON1 Photo RAW 2026 or ON1 Resize 2026 on macOS 26.0.1.
Use the newest Highest Quality resize model, which is Stable Diffusion–based and runs through CoreML.
Observe correct, high-quality results.
Upgrade to macOS 26.1 Beta and run the same operation again.
The output becomes visually scrambled or corrupted.
We are also seeing similar issues with another Stable Diffusion UNet model that previously worked correctly on macOS 26.0.1. This suggests the regression may affect multiple diffusion-style architectures, likely due to a change in CoreML’s tensor stride, layout computation, or memory alignment between these versions.
Notes
The affected models are exported using standard CoreML conversion pipelines.
No custom operators or third-party CoreML runtime layers are used.
The issue reproduces consistently across multiple machines.
It would be helpful to know if there were changes to CoreML’s tensor layout, precision handling, or MLCompute backend between macOS 26.0.1 and 26.1 Beta, or if this is a known regression in the current beta.
We have crash reports as shown below that we haven't yet been able to repro and could use some help deubgging.
My guess is that the app is giving a label or text view an attributed string with an invalid attribute range, but attributed strings are used in many places throughout the app, and I don't know an efficient way to track this down.
I'm posting the stack trace here in hopes that someone more familiar with the internals of the system frameworks mentioned will be able to provide a clue to help narrow where I should look.

Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing a persistent issue for months now where I'm unable to download the iOS 26 simulator Runtime. I've tried reinstalling Xcode and also Xcode Beta but same issue.
iOS 26 Simulator is also not on developers download page, so manual installation is impossible. And sadly I can't compile any code without having iOS 26 simulator installed.
Anyone able to get passed this?

Hi,
I’m encountering an issue in my app’s Wallet Extension, specifically within the Non-UI Extension, where we are unable to retrieve payment passes bound to a user’s account. The same code that successfully retrieves these bound cards in the main app does not work when used in the Non-UI Extension.
Case-ID: 8932090
Steps to Reproduce:
Set up In-App Provisioning:
Ensure that the app has the necessary In-App Provisioning permissions. This functionality works correctly in the main app, confirming that the permissions are properly configured.
Configure Wallet Extensions:
Follow the Wallet Extensions documentation to configure the app, including all required settings for the Non-UI Extension.
Add Code to Retrieve Payment Passes:
In the main app’s LoginView, implement the following code in the handleLogin() method to retrieve payment passes:
// Get the identifiers of payment passes that already exist in Apple Pay.
paymentPassLibrary = self.passLibrary.passes(of: .secureElement)
for pass in paymentPassLibrary {
if let identifier = pass.secureElementPass?.primaryAccountIdentifier {
if pass.isRemotePass && pass.deviceName.localizedCaseInsensitiveContains("Apple Watch") {
remotePassIdentifiers.insert(identifier)
} else if !pass.isRemotePass {
passIdentifiers.insert(identifier)
}
}
}
Verify Functionality in Main App:
Run the app and verify that the code successfully retrieves the payment passes bound to the user’s account.
Implement Code in Non-UI Extension:
Add the same code to the Non-UI Extension, specifically in the WNonUIExtHandler class within the override func status(completion: @escaping (PKIssuerProvisioningExtensionStatus) -> Void) method.
Test in Wallet Extension:
Run the Wallet Extension and observe that the payment passes are not retrieved when the code is executed in the Non-UI Extension.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue or can provide insight into why the code might not work in the Non-UI Extension compared to the main app?
Support Information:
iOS Version: 17.5.1
Development environment: Xcode 15.4 (15F31d), macOS 14.3 (23D56)
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
