Hey guysI’ve been trying to pay for Apple Developer Program enrollment for about a week and still no luck. As well as I got from a small talk with the customer support – Apple never got my money. So it seems like my payment authorization fails all the time. But I don’t know what’s really going on.Have any of you ever had issues like that?Or maybe you just know what’s going on and how to fix it?

Hi all,
Apple dropping on-going development for FireWire devices that were supported with the Core Audio driver standard is a catastrophe for a lot of struggling musicians who need to both keep up to date on security updates that come with new OS releases, and continue to utilise their hard earned investments in very expensive and still pristine audio devices that have been reduced to e-waste by Apple's seemingly tone-deaf ignorance in the cries for on-going support.
I have one of said audio devices, and I'd like to keep using it while keeping my 2019 Intel Mac Book Pro up to date with the latest security updates and OS features.
Probably not the first time you gurus have had someone make the logical leap leading to a request for something like this, but I was wondering if it might be somehow possible of shoe-horning the code used in previous versions of Mac OS that allowed the Mac to speak with the audio features of such devices to run inside the Ventura version of the OS.
Would it possible? Would it involve a lot of work? I don't think I'd be the only person willing to pay for a third party application or utility that restored this functionality.
There has to be 100's of thousands of people who would be happy to spare some cash to stop their multi-thousand dollar investment in gear to be so thoughtlessly resigned to the scrap heap.
Any comments or layman-friendly explanations as to why this couldn’t happen would be gratefully received!
Thanks,
em
When I login to my Dev account, I get a banner that says "The updated Apple Developer Program License Agreement needs to be reviewed. In order to update your existing apps and submit new apps to the App Store, the Account Holder must review and accept the updated agreement."However, when I go to Agreements, Tax, and Banking, I see both Free Apps and Paid Apps agreement, but when I click on View, there's nothing for me to accept. It's a pop-up window with a list of countries and a button at the end that says "Close". And that's it. No other action is possible. No other option either under the Action column.So then how can I review and accept it?
Hi,
We've noticed that this issue occurs more frequently after upgrading to iOS 18.4.1 and can result in one-way audio.
Our app uses CallKit with WebRTC to establish VoIP connections.
However, on iOS 18.4.1, CallKit no longer triggers:
func provider(_ provider: CXProvider, didActivate audioSession: AVAudioSession)
We're currently comparing the occurrence rate across different iOS versions to better understand the impact.
Could you please help analyze the root cause of this issue?
When creating an icon using icon composer, I cant upload a build to testflight/App Store connect.
Running on device from Xcode works fine, but as soon as I archive and upload to App Store Connect, I get an error saying the icon contains an alpha channel
I am able to symbolicate kernel backtraces for addresses that belong to my kext.
Is it possible to symbolicate kernel backtraces for addresses that lie beyond my kext and reference kernel code?

Hi all,
Has anyone else run into this issue in Xcode 26?
I’m logged into my paid ChatGPT Plus account, but the Xcode integration doesn’t seem to recognize the subscription. After a short period of use, I get the following error:
“Over daily limit. ChatGPT in Xcode will be unavailable for up to 24 hours. For higher limits, sign in with a paid ChatGPT account.”
Since I’m already signed in with a paid account, this looks like either a bug or a limitation specific to Xcode.
Is this expected behavior, or has anyone found a workaround to make Xcode properly recognize Plus accounts?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

My team recently released an app to the iOS app store. We are trying to add the Smart App Banner to our website to promote the app, but the banner is not shown. When the page loads, there is a flash of an empty Smart App Banner before it is automatically dismissed. This happens on every page load. If I put use an app ID of other apps the banner appears. I've triple checked that I'm using the correct app ID. So it seems like it is an issue with my app. I can see my app in the App Store, so I know it's available. I've tested on multiple phones.
I just saw another post regarding bookmarks on iOS where an Apple engineer made the following statement:
macOS is better at enforcing the "right" behavior, so code that works there will generally work on iOS.
So I went back to my macOS code to double-check. Sure enough, the following statement:
let bookmark = try url.bookmarkData(options: .withSecurityScope)
fails 100% of the time.
I had seen earlier statements from other DTS Engineers recommending that any use of a URL be bracketed by start/stopAccessingSecurityScopedResource. And that makes a lot of sense. If "start" returns true, then call stop. But if start returns false, then it isn't needed, so don't call stop. No harm, no foul.
But what's confusing is this other, directly-related API where a security-scoped bookmark cannot be created under any circumstances because of the URL itself, some specific way the URL was initially created, and/or manipulated?
So, what I'm asking is if someone could elaborate on what would cause a failure to create a security-scoped bookmark? What kinds of URLs are valid for creation of security-scoped bookmarks? Are there operations on a URL that will then cause a failure to create a security-scoped bookmark? Is it allowed to pass the URL and/or bookmark back and forth between Objective-C and Swift?
I'm developing a new macOS app for release in the Mac App Store. I'm initially getting my URL from an NSOpenPanel. Then I store it in a SQLite database. I may access the URL again, after a restart, or after a year. I have a login item that also needs to read the database and access the URL.
I have additional complications as well, but they don't really matter. Before I get to any of that, I get a whole volume URL from an NSOpen panel in Swift, then, almost immediately, attempt to create a security-scoped bookmark. I cannot. I've tried many different combinations of options and flows of operation, but obviously not all.
I think this started happening with macOS 26, but that doesn't really matter. If this is new behaviour in macOS 26, then I must live with it.
My particular use requires a URL to a whole volume. Because of this, I don't actually seem to need a security-scoped bookmark at all. So I think I might simply get lucky for now.
But this still bothers me. I don't really like being lucky. I'd rather be right. I have other apps in development where this could be a bigger problem. It seems like I will need completely separate URL handling logic based on the type of URL the user selects.
And what of document-scoped URLs? This experience seems to strongly indicate that security-scoped URLs should only ever be document-scoped. I think in some of my debugging efforts I tried document-scoped URLs. They didn't fix the problem, but they seemed to make the entire process more straightforward and transparent. Can a single metadata-hosting file host multiple security-scoped bookmarks? Or should I have a separate one for each bookmark?
But the essence of my question is that this is supposed to be simple operation that, in certain cases, is a guaranteed failure. There are a mind-bogglingly large number of potential options and logic flows. Does there exist a set of options and logic flows for which the user can select a URL, any URL, with the explicit intent to persist it, and that my app can save, share with helper apps, and have it all work normally after restart?
webkitEnterFullScreen API is supported on iOS for video element, but not for a div element. Also as a fullscreen demo website shown, Safari on macOS supports div element but not on iOS. Is there any plan to add the support in iOS? If not is there any way to fullscreen a div element or make it run as fullscreen on Safari iOS?
I've tried to notarize my app recently and got the error:{

"archiveFilename": "myapp.dmg",
"uploadDate": "2019-06-20T06:24:53Z",

}I've never heard about "team configuration for notarization" previously. What are the steps to resolve that issue?Thanks in advance.
I have an iOS app that allows user to select a folder (from Files). I want to bookmark that folder and later on (perhaps on a different launch of the app) access the contents of it. Is that scenario supported or not? Can't make it work for some reason (e.g. I'm getting no error from the call to create a bookmark, from a call to resolve the bookmark, the folder URL is not stale, but... startAccessingSecurityScopedResource() is returning false.
Hi, I'm new to swift programming and right now writing an app for esp8266-controlled lamp device. My lamp is broadcasting it's own IP through bonjour. So all I want is to discover any lamps in my network (http.tcp) and to read name and value. Is there any example of such implementation? All I found so far is old or a lit bit complicated for such simple question. Thanks in advance!
Hi, I have a couple questions about background app refresh. First, is the function RefreshAppContentsOperation() where to implement code that needs to be run in the background? Second, despite importing BackgroundTasks, I am getting the error "cannot find operationQueue in scope". What can I do to resolve that? Thank you.
func scheduleAppRefresh() {
let request = BGAppRefreshTaskRequest(identifier: "peaceofmindmentalhealth.RoutineRefresh")
// Fetch no earlier than 15 minutes from now.
request.earliestBeginDate = Date(timeIntervalSinceNow: 15 * 60)
do {
try BGTaskScheduler.shared.submit(request)
} catch {
print("Could not schedule app refresh: \(error)")
}
}
func handleAppRefresh(task: BGAppRefreshTask) {
// Schedule a new refresh task.
scheduleAppRefresh()
// Create an operation that performs the main part of the background task.
let operation = RefreshAppContentsOperation()
// Provide the background task with an expiration handler that cancels the operation.
task.expirationHandler = {
operation.cancel()
}
// Inform the system that the background task is complete
// when the operation completes.
operation.completionBlock = {
task.setTaskCompleted(success: !operation.isCancelled)
}
// Start the operation.
operationQueue.addOperation(operation)
}
func RefreshAppContentsOperation() -> Operation {
}
Recently I got an email stating I need to update age rating questionnaire. I have tried to update age rating for my app in App Store using the account owner already. I have followed this tutorial (https://developer.apple.com/help/app-store-connect/manage-app-information/set-an-app-age-rating/), but the age rating cannot be updated. Anyone know how to update this, please let me know

We have a custom SecurityAgentPlugin that is triggered by multiple authorizationdb entries. Some customers report that the SecurityAgent process takes window focus even though no UI or windows are displayed.
Our plugin explicitly ignores the _securityAgent user and does not show any UI for that user. However, in macOS 26.1, it appears that the plugin still causes the SecurityAgent to take focus as soon as it is triggered.
Is this a change in macOS 26.1 or a bug? Can we do anything to prevent "focus stealing"?
I have been working for a while now. Never encountered this issue. After accepting the invite from the organization. The organizations does not appear at developer apple account. But can see the organization at app store connect. Yes i have checked the account permissions. I have the admin role and developer role etc is checked everything is correct. This is not just me happening with my colleague as well.
I have had this notice for a while: Registration is being processed for these devices. They may become available for development and ad hoc distribution in 24 to 72 hours. Changes to device availability will appear in the Status column.
The status for my new iPhone has been stuck in this "Processing" state. See image:
We have an app with a few App Clip Advanced Experiences. Since around 28th of August the status of the experiences seems to be stuck in either CREATE_SUBMITTED or UPDATE_SUBMITTED and they don't get updated to PUBLISHED anymore.
I found this in the experiences JSON loaded by AppStoreConnect when editing the experiences:
"statuses": {
"doc_count_error_upper_bound": 0,
"sum_other_doc_count": 0,
"buckets": [
{
"key": "PUBLISHED",
"doc_count": 182
},
{
"key": "CREATE_SUBMITTED",
"doc_count": 7
},
{
"key": "UPDATE_SUBMITTED",
"doc_count": 3
}
]
},
This shows that 10 experiences are stuck in other status than PUBLISHED.
I created a Feedback with ID FB15041208 and a DTS last week.
This is REALLY important for us to be fixed immediately since we have customers that rely on this!
On macOS 26.1 (25B78) I can't give Full Disk Access to sshd-keygen-wrapper. Now my Jenkins jobs do not work because they do not have the permission to execute the necessary scripts. Until macOS 26.1 everything worked fine. I restarted the machine several times and tried to give access from Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Full Disk Access but it just does not work. I tried logging with ssh on the machine and executing a script but again nothing happened.
