Hey guysI’ve been trying to pay for Apple Developer Program enrollment for about a week and still no luck. As well as I got from a small talk with the customer support – Apple never got my money. So it seems like my payment authorization fails all the time. But I don’t know what’s really going on.Have any of you ever had issues like that?Or maybe you just know what’s going on and how to fix it?

Running the sample "Juice" app, which demos the Sign In With Apple flow, doesn't seem to work with Xcode 12 beta and iOS 14 beta on the simulator (worked fine on the non-beta versions and on a real device with iOS 14 beta).
Once the password for the device's Apple ID is entered, the wheel in the password field just keeps spinning. No error messages and nothing handed back over to the app from the ASAuthorizationController.
Anyone else seeing this problem ? Are there any workarounds ?

Hi everyone,
I subscribed to the Apple Developer Program on Tuesday evening, November 4th, 2025. The payment has already been charged to my bank account, but my account still shows the status “Pending” with the message “Subscribe your membership”.
It’s now been several days, and I haven’t received any confirmation email or any request for additional information.
I already contacted Apple Support by email, but I’d like to know if other developers have experienced the same situation and how long it took before their account was activated.
Thanks in advance for your help and feedback!

Hi everyone,
I uploaded two builds to App Store Connect today, but they have been stuck in "Processing" status for 10 hours now:
Build 1.0 (10): Uploaded at Jan 14, 2026 5:03 AM - still Processing
Build 1.0 (9): Uploaded at Jan 14, 2026 4:23 AM(UTC+8) - still Processing
Usually my builds complete processing within 10-30 minutes. Is there a known issue with build processing today, or is there something I should check on my end?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

When creating an icon using icon composer, I cant upload a build to testflight/App Store connect.
Running on device from Xcode works fine, but as soon as I archive and upload to App Store Connect, I get an error saying the icon contains an alpha channel
G'day.
At my office the doors are locked with an NFC reader. We carry around a little NFC tag on our key chains which will read out a number and this then will open the door if the number matches a number in the database.
I am tired of carrying around the tag, people keep loosing it, forgetting it and it would be nice to open the door using a Phone - which we tend to always have on us.
So I used a credit card which is NFC enabled to readout the NFC information, added this number to the database and can now open doors using my credit card. This is pretty cool. If I forget my keys (most likely they will be on the desk but silly me left the desk without them), I may have my wallet with me.
Then I tried Wallet.app on my iPhone and select the same credit card. However the door doesn't open. When looking in the door software I noticed that the tags will always transmit the same number. So does my credit card. However Wallet.app will read out 4 readings (or maybe just one very long one) and they are always different. So I can not make them match with the door database.
Any ideas how to make this work? Can I give somehow wallet.app an NFC number which I can then add to my door database? Or how come the credit card and the very same one in wallet.app don't match?
Thanks for your help! Would be neat if I could make this work out. This will make a lot of people happy at my office!
Cheers!
I added my first subscription to my app using StoreKit's SubscriptionStoreView. Everything worked as expected in the debug environment and also in TestFlight. So I submitted my app and subscriptions to App Store Connect, got everything Approved and released.
After updating my app through App Store and checking the Subscription View, it just says "Subscription Unavailable. The subscription is unavailable in the current storefront."
I waited around 3 days and still getting the same message. Now the very strange behavior starts. I went to App Store Connect, I made and edit to the subscription description, saved, removed the edit, saved, and submitted to review. 15 minutes later the subscriptions appear in my app and everything works as expected. After getting the edit approved, the Subscription View in my app again only showed the message "Subscription Unavailable. The subscription is unavailable in the current storefront." No user is able to see the subscriptions anymore, even though it worked as expected before the edit was approved.
So I did the same as before. Again, make an edit to the subscription description, save, remove the edit, save, submit to review. 15 minutes later the subscriptions are again available in my app and it works as expected.
This is definitely not the expected behavior and submitting the subscription edits every day is wasting the App Review Team's time as well as mine. I contacted Apple Developer Support but I didn't get any reply back (at least yet).
I am not the only one experiencing this. I found a friend online who has the exact same issue, and is able to temporarily solve it by making an edit to the subscription description as well.
So far it has been a huge headache, and we are losing customers this way. Please if anyone has experience with this problem, or has any suggestions, they will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much,
Tomas

I haven’t been able to get this to work at any level! I’m running into multiple issues, any light shed on any of these would be nice:
I can’t implement a bloom filter that produces the same output as can be found in the SimpleURLFilter sample project, after following the textual description of it that’s available in the documentation. No clue what my implementation is doing wrong, and because of the nature of hashing, there is no way to know. Specifically:
The web is full of implementations of FNV-1a and MurmurHash3, and they all produce different hashes for the same input. Can we get the proper hashes for some sample strings, so we know which is the “correct” one?
Similarly, different implementations use different encodings for the strings to hash. Which should we use here?
The formulas for numberOfBits and numberOfHashes give Doubles and assign them to Ints. It seems we should do this conversing by rounding them, is this correct?
Can we get a sample correct value for the combined hash, so we can verify our implementations against it?
Or ignoring all of the above, can we have the actual code instead of a textual description of it? 😓
I managed to get Settings to register my first attempt at this extension in beta 1. Now, in beta 2, any other project (including the sample code) will redirect to Settings, show the Allow/Deny message box, I tap Allow, and then nothing happens. This must be a bug, right?
Whenever I try to enable the only extension that Settings accepted (by setting its isEnabled to true), its status goes to .stopped and the error is, of course, .unknown. How do I debug this?
While the extension is .stopped, ALL URL LOADS are blocked on the device. Is this to be expected? (shouldFailClosed is set to false)
Is there any way to manually reload the bloom filter? My app ships blocklist updates with background push, so it would be wasteful to fetch the filter at a fixed interval. If so, can we opt out of the periodic fetch altogether?
I initially believed the API to be near useless because I didn’t know of its “fuzzy matching” capabilities, which I’ve discovered by accident in a forum post. It’d be nice if those were documented somewhere!
Thanks!!
Hello,
I am having a recurring issue using Swift Playgrounds version 4.6.4 on macOS 26.1.
Upon opening a file and every other time I start typing in the code section I get a prompt, the image below, two or three times. It doesn't matter if I accept or decline all or some of the prompts, as soon as I start typing on another line I get prompted another two or three times for permission.
It appears to me that prompt generates every time the preview pane tries to update. Declining the prompt breaks the preview but accepting the prompt only gets you through a single line of code before it appears again.
I believe this issue started after I updated to macOS26.1 as I had not encountered it before. I've also opened other files with Swift Playgrounds and encounter the same problem.
It could also be unrelated to the update and could be an issue with some permission setting somewhere, however, I have been unable to find what or where it could be.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Thank you for your time :)
My application needs local network access. When it is started for the first time, the user gets a prompt to enable local network access (as expected). The application is then shown as enabled in Privacy & Security / Local Network and local network access is working.
If macOS is then shutdown and restarted, local network access is blocked for the application even though it is still shown as enabled in Privacy & Security / Local Network. Local network access can be restored either by toggling permission off and on in Privacy & Security / Local Network or by disabling and enabling Wi-Fi.
This behaviour is consistent on Sequoia 15.1. It happens sometimes on 15.0 and 15.0.1 but not every time. Is my application doing something wrong or is this a Sequoia issue? If it is a Sequoia issue, is there some change I can make to my application to work around it?
Hello,
I have an app that is using iOS 26 Network Framework APIs.
It is using QUIC, TLS 1.3 and Bonjour. For TLS I am using a PKCS#12 identity.
All works well and as expected if the devices (iPhone with no cellular, iPhone with cellular, and iPad no cellular) are all on the same wifi network.
If I turn off my router (ie no more wifi network) and leave on the wifi toggle on the iOS devices - only the non cellular iPhone and iPad are able to discovery and connect to each other. My iPhone with cellular is not able to.
By sharing my logs with Cursor AI it was determined that the connection between the two problematic peers (iPad with no cellular and iPhone with cellular) never even makes it to the TLS step because I never see the logs where I print out the certs I compare.
I tried doing "builder.requiredInterfaceType(.wifi)" but doing that blocked the two non cellular devices from working. I also tried "builder.prohibitedInterfaceTypes([.cellular])" but that also did not work.
Is AWDL on it's way out? Should I focus my energy on Wi-Fi Aware?

We create custom VPN tunnel by overriding PacketTunnelProvider on MacOS. Normal VPN connection works seamlessly. But if we enable onDemand rules on VPN manager, intemittently during tunnel creation via OnDemand, internet goes away on machine leading to a connection stuck state.
Why does internet goes away during tunnel creation?
On a MacBook Pro, 16GB of RAM, 500 GB SSD, OS Sequoia 15.7.1, M3 chip, I am running some python3 code in a conda environment that requires lots of RAM and sure enough, once physical memory is almost exhausted, swapfiles of about 1GB each start being created, which I can see in /System/Volumes/VM. This folder has about 470 GB of available space at the start of the process (I can see this through get info) however, once about 40 or so swapfiles are created, for a total of about 40GB of virtual memory occupied (and thus still plenty of available space in VM), zsh kills the python process responsible for the RAM usage (notably, it does not kill another python process using only about 100 MB of RAM). The message received is "zsh: killed" in the tmux pane where the logging of the process is printed.
All the documentation I was able to consult says that macOS is designed to use up to all available storage on the startup disk (which is the one I am using since I have only one disk and the available space aforementioned reflects this) for swapping, when physical RAM is not enough. Then why is the process killed long before the swapping area is exhausted? In contrast, the same process on a Linux machine (basic python venv here) just keeps swapping, and never gets killed until swap area is exhausted.
One last note, I do not have administrator rights on this device, so I could not run dmesg to retrieve more precise information, I can only check with df -h how the swap area increases little by little. My employer's IT team confirmed that they do not mess with memory usage on managed profiles, so macOS is just doing its thing.
Thanks for any insight you can share on this issue, is it a known bug (perhaps with conda/python environments) or is it expected behaviour? Is there a way to keep the process from being killed?

Xcode Cloud builds are hanging forever at the final step, Prepare Build for App Store Connect. This is a common issue that requires some fix in Cupertino.
Reporting this in the afternoon of Jan 13, Pacific Time.
We have an application which keeps throwing the error "application is damaged and cannot be opened. You should move it to Trash"
I have already referred to the documentation: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/706379 and https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/706442
I have checked the following possible root causes:
Codesign of the application using the codesign command
Notarization of the application using the spctl command
Executable permissions
Checked for the presence of "com.apple.quarantine" flag for the application using xattr -l <path to executables"
Checked the bundle structure
None of the above listed items seemed to be a problem and are as expected.
Can you please help us understand what could cause this issue and how to resolve this without recommending an uninstall/reinstall of the application?
We submitted a build to testflight and received a confirmation email it was successfully uploaded.
When we open testflight on our iPhone's (X, 6s) we get a message of
"Could not install appname"
"The requested app is not available or does not exist"
Where appname is the name of the app.
Its very confusing because I can see the build listed in testflight on my mobile device and can view it in iTunes connect.
I also can't install prior builds that had worked successfully when I try.
My app start up has became horrid. It takes 1 minute to open SQLlite database for my rust core. Impossible to work...
I have Address Sanitizer, Thread Perf Checker and Thread Sanitizer disabled...
Hello, I'm currently experiencing issues with IAP subscription setup.
The following error appears:
"Billing Problem, There was a problem with your subscription renewal. To resolve, turn on Allow Purchases & Renewals, or leave off to test failed in-app purchase attempts and subscription renewals."
I'm testing with a sandbox account, and automatic subscription renewal is turned on in the sandbox settings.
A notification screen appears at the OS level, and consequently, a DID_FAIL_TO_RENEW error occurs on our payment server.
I cannot determine the cause at all, so I would appreciate your assistance in checking this issue.
